The Ulverstone Veterinary clinic is a mixed practice that has provided a continuous service to the community of the Central Coast of Tasmania since the mid 1970s.
In 1979 Dr Peter Thomson commenced practice at Ulverstone after graduating from Sydney University. At this time the practice was mostly large animal based, quite different to today. It has since evolved to be a 2-3 vet mixed practice with an emphasis on companion animals but with a depth of large animal experience.
