The staff and manager here are incredible people. I unfortunately lost my bag whilst shopping and they went to great lengths to check the security cameras and search for it throughout the whole store. We eventually found it, but would not have been possible if it weren’t for them and their commitment to being so helpful. Thank you SO much!!!
Very expensive place for a OP shop. However, with branded clothes. If you want to pay less and embrace the “recycling” purpose of a cheap and reusable clothes go to Vinnies, Red Cross or Salvation Army.
Really overpriced for pre-loved clothing. The designer bags are probably not authenticated so just be sure to look at the stitching and hardware.
For years now I have been a constant client at your Crown Street Surry Hills Store and been delighted with the quality. As of late - last 12 mths- I've noticed a decline in both the quality of the alleged vintage garments. If people need to source second hand or used clothes in this geographic location Vnnies Salvos and Ted Noffs all operate in the same street and charge a fraction of the price. At this point in time your maindraw card is the helpful sales lady who is always well versed in understanding various eras of fashion. I really hope in the future the buyer can source better quality garments.
I LOVE second hand stores, so when I saw the variety of styles in this one which were all totally up my alley, I felt like a kid in a candy shop! Prices are reasonable for the brand and quality of items, the shopkeeper was also super friendly and kind enough to adhere to my request for a discount since I bought so many items. I'll definitely come back here on my next visit to Sydney!
Great place to shop the atmosphere was great and the staff where helpful and a great place to get a bargain
I love the clothes at this shop and have been shopping here for years. I brought my friend here to go formal dress shopping and my friend wanted to try on the dress on the mannequin. She asked the sales assistant if she could and was surprised when the lady said no. She stated that she had dressed the mannequin in the morning so did not want to dress it again. She was absolutely rude when she said this and I noticed she acted very differently with adults who wished to purchase from the store. Maybe she thought that my friend wouldn't actually buy the dress and thus why she was not bothered to take the dress off the mannequin. However my friend was willing to pay for it that day. The lady seemed very impatient with us. I can't believe she refused my friend of trying on the dress out of pure laziness. Go to the Newtown one instead.
Such a cool little shop, so many sweet items and I scored the coolest coat. I left feeling very satisfied. Go check it out! There's heaps of cool vintage stores on the same street so it's worth a visit.
compare to other brunch, here is not much offer for discount, but still good price, other branch , they offer another 50%discnunt for each color tags which changes every week.^_^ owner is fashionable, tall and handsome
Very frustrating that I have tried visiting U-turn 2 days in a row just to see a 'Back in half an hour sign' Both times I went to lunch and came back to check and still it was closed : I work in an office and I visited on my lunch break so I wonder how much business they lose because the retail assistant decides to go for an hour lunch break at the busiest time. At the very least, give customers a time as to when you will return. I love U-turn so why wont you just take my gosh damn money!! :
