Cute lil place tucked in, you wouldn't even notice it if you walked past briskly. The last at the counter is so sweet, got my coffee pretty quick and it was decent. Maybe a spot to get a quick bite Anda coffee on the run. There a table and two chairs if you fancied sitting for a snack
I want to say thank you so much to Meg who came to the rescue when my husband had a very bad fall on the road in the front of Two Penny Blue. She and Irene gave us plasters and tissues as he had many abrasions. They were so very kind and helpful and it was much appreciated. We sat down after that and enjoyed an excellent coffee. . Thank you once again.
Despite long wait at rush hours. I always like their soy flat white. Amaze with their process and the lady can remember everyone orders.
Great coffee to get on the go. Also, some of the best cafe made hot chocolate you can get in the city. Really nice small snacks available as well. Possibly the best coffee in Martin Place.Food: 5/5
Two Penny Blue is becoming a daily habit. They serve a fabulous house roast that works for me perfectly. The muffins are house baked and while likely not very good for you they are easily the best blueberry muffin in town. Great team, always busy but never too busy to smile. Terrific way to start the day.
Possibly the best cookie I’ve ever had! The triple chocolate salted cookie is amazing! Worth every calorie. Coffee is also good and quick and friendly!
Absolutely terrible service. Asked upfront for receipt and was acknowledged. Then the lady decided to take the next order and then gave me the coffee without a receipt. When I asked for one she said she can’t print it because she processed other orders. Hardly a word of apology. Won’t be back. Coffee was ok, possibly slightly burnt.
Pretty and hidden cafe in Martin place, coffee is great and i love brownies here.
The coffee is okay - a bit acidic for my palate good if you like Campos but I understand this is subjective. I visit this place for their English muffins but it's unlikely I'll visit again as their staff are generally rude and miserable - I don't want that negativity in my life. Today, after ordering, one of their staff rolled the food trolley over my toes. Everyone present at the time saw this, including their manager but I wasn't apologised to once nor was it acknowledged. Sydney is bustling with good food and coffee so Two Penny Blue are going to have to step up to survive in this market.
Coffee is really good, especially the mocha - actual melted chocolate as opposed to the stuff they serve at Gumption. Food is really good too - quite like the pesto chicken zaatar, goes well with a coffee! Staff are really nice to chat to as well - recommended!
