Always a warm welcome at TM. Very happy for you to park up your bikes and browse the store. Still finding my feet being new to the area, I decided to have my bike serviced by them. Geoff went above and beyond as a mechanic to get me back on the road ASAP. I didnt think the bike was running too badly but after riding it after the service it is magic. Geoff even pulled my rear hub apart for a tidy up just for fun. The service was well under budget considering the new parts it required. Honest, unbelievably good service from the team at Two Monkeys. The shop is a pleasure to be in and staff are always on hand and helpful.
I bought a custom built road bike here at the beginning of April 2017. This is my fourth road bike and I have to say it is the smoothest one I've had yet. The customer service is very friendly and their knowledge of road bikes and how to set one up is second to none. I often go to the cafe in the shop for coffee during the week.
Great local bike shop! Excellent range of high quality products, and some of the most interesting kit going around. Brought my bike in for a quick repair at one of the busiest times of the year. Problem fixed within half an hour. Can’t recommend these guys enough!
Slick 20 minute sales process but the ride-away experience was easily the worst I've ever experienced. I even had to ask for the basics, like the usual seat adjustment, because they either forgot or didn't care. I had to return to the store twice within 15 minutes - and less than 200m of attempted cycling - to get something fixed. Each time, the sales guy and part-time mechanic swore at the bike and inferred the issues were my fault ....somehow. There was no hint of an apology. Seriously....how hard is it for a professional bike shop to at least check the rear wheel is attached properly!!! and the derailleurs are adjusted so the new bicycle stays in the selected gear? I left the store feeling intense buyer's regret and no sense of confidence in the bike. I read the glowing reviews about this place before electing to give them a try. Perhaps I just got them on an off day. Your mileage may vary.
These guys are great, always helpful, very good service and sales. They fixed my Subrosa single-speed straight away when I got a flat. They - Jeff - gave my Specialized carbon 650B a full service and got it done quick sticks so I could race on the weekend, sourced a new sprocket and parts. The gear - shirts and helmets are great too.
Finally a local bike store and team of mechanics worth their salt. They have the knowledge to get your bike into the shape it deserves. I've visited twice to get two separate high end bikes tuned and Geoff and his team have provided service and advice that is hard to find in Sydney. By the way the cafe has great food and the friendly service you always wish for.
I took my here for a service and it was fantastic. The mechanic fixed up a couple of problems and was very helpful and friendly - gave me heaps of advice not just on the service but how to maintain it. It's also very convenient that it's open so early - I could drop the bike on my way to work and they hired out a commuter at a very reasonable price. Oh, and the coffee is great. I had a short black.
After purchasing my bike last year from the Penshurst shop I was keen to visit when they opened up closer to where I live I've since been visiting multiple times a week and joining their shop rides. It's fantastic to see they maintain their friendly, down to earth and helpful service. It has a very relaxed vibe. Geoff the mechanic is happy to check your bike when you're in for a coffee and tell you if anything is wrong, he's also happy to teach you the processes which is very helpful for maintenance and knowing how the bicycle works! Recently getting a powermeter and new cranks installed on my bike, both Julian and Geoff were very helpful, communicating with me about where the parts all were as they had to be shipped in. Well worth a stop for the excellent coffee, a good chat and make sure you check out the great shop kit!
Used Jeff and Berny here for a few thing's with my bike and they really know their stuff. Honesty and detail in every part of the servicing and customer experience is why I go back time and time again. Will always use these guys over other shops around, good for a chit chat anything bike or otherwise related, top blokes. Great value but no skipping any part of the details. Kudos.
I took a bike I had purchased on eBay into two monkeys in Alexandria for maintenance and was so stoked with the service I received. When I picked it up the next day it was riding so much smoother which was surprising considering it hadn't been ridden much previously so I didn't know there were improvements to make! Such a calm environment in the shop, I just wanted to hang out there all day. Really appreciated all of the staff willing to help out wherever possible even if it wasn't necessarily for a sale. Cheers guys! Will definitely pop back in for a coffee/ chat soon!
