Great little outing to the beautiful country side and ability to take in a bit of art. The portrait exhibitions was worth the trip. Collection is otherwise what to expect from a small town gallery. Kids love the ability to do their own still painting.
A great place to see local and national artists. Very inspiring and creative to visit this magnificent gallery.
What a little gem! We called in mainly to see the Margaret Olley exhibition and were pleasantly surprised with the whole place. The Archibald's was on as well. How much more pleasant than crowded Sydney. We made a detour to see the gallery on our way north and we are really pleased we did.
Allways enjoy my visits to our gallery. I still believe that it's one of the best regional art galleries in Australia, if not the best. It's worth the trip for anyone remotely interested in art or just enjoying interesting things to look at :
A great regional gallery. Margaret Olley display is very good. Recently visited to view the Archebald exhibition. Very busy and parking was a bit of a problem. Staff friendly and helpful.
Visited the Archibald Prize exhibit and long lines due to Covid safety....was well worth the wait!! The rest of the gallery is great, with Arthur Boyd and Margaret Olley areas to view! Very well done!
Excellent facilities wheelchair friendly. Staff and volunteers welcoming and most helpful. Cafe deck overlooking glorious valley panorama.
What a pleasure to visit this Art Gallery for the Archibald Prize ....such a queue to get in proves its popularity. A well designed professional space that is a winner.
