This is not your typical Japanese restaurant - it's SO much better! The Ramen is amazing - rich and flavourful. The ala carte items are prepared fresh -within view if you choose to sit at the bar recommended for couples and a small group of four. Beautiful, fresh, authentic - love it.
I found everything to be quite overpriced. Ramen tasted great, but I was expecting to get more than one piece of meat for the price. I don’t recommend the small dishes here, so I would only come for ramen. The fried chicken wings were over-cooked and there were only 4 for a whopping $11.
Was pretty disappointed with the ramen. It was under seasoned and overpriced. The fried squid however was amazing. I don't think I'd come back just for the ramen, but would definitely come back for the other dishes.
Food is great! The only thing I would say needs improvement is the authenticity of the eating experience. There is a massive 85” screen that was playing the golf which I felt took away from the true Japanese ramen experience. The bar has a lot of unused utensils as well. We’ll definitely be back as the food is great!
DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Just have a visit after 3 years, still overpriced and not tasty, even as an Asian customer who been to JP and a lot of other Japanese restaurants. Firstly, only one chief who did the grilled skewer work for the whole place, then only one waitress which is lack of service: Also, the RAMEN is NOT in house made, it is 1000% totally u can get in Asian shop for like under $5. I had already gave this place 2 times chances, not any more. We spend nearly $80 for 2, no drinks, very disappointed as my first time visit
It is the first time we came and we ordered some popular dishes: - Spicy Miso Ramen: why is cabbage in ramen? Even it can be chef’s creativity, I suppose it could not be in square shape - Tonkotsu Ramen: not too much flavour, egg is not marinated enough, no seaweed - Chicken wing with fish roe inside: very creative and unique, delicious, but too small and expensive TUNO is good at atmosphere, decoration and charcoal grilled dishes with high price though. Ramen does not reach our expectation. Maybe we will come back for side dish, not for main dish.
The most terrible Japanese food I have ever had in my life. I ordered black garlic ramen, fired chicken, dumplings on Uber. None of them are acceptable… the ramen is no flavor at all. I have had countless black garlic ramen in my life and none of them is like this. Even the fires chicken is a disaster. It’s not crispy at all. Hard to chew and taste like rubber.
Overall nice place. The ramen are a bit on the expensive side for what it is, but tastes good. The Shoyu and Shio ramen were both nice, with a rich chicken soup broth base. Suggest Shoyu if you prefer saltier, Shio if you prefer light taste. It came with two halves of the egg too most other places only give you one half egg. Ramen noodle texture was good medium firm. Grilled riceball was a little too salty for my tastes, but still good. I rate the Karaage highly, it reminds me of the Taiwanese salt and pepper fried chicken style. The wait staff were very friendly, but a little awkward seeing them struggle with communication and the basics of the language. Nice decor and ambience. Plenty of bar-type seats, good for couples or single diners.
This was a delicious bowl of ramen! The soy egg and noodles were soft and perfect, the broth had the right consistency and it was well portioned. However, I would've liked a little more salt or depth of flavour. But overall, I would still come back, maybe will try a different one. We also ordered the grilled mushrooms over the habachi grill & that was magnificent. : @deelycious_ on insta for more pics
First time coming back after a long while and I was left utterly disappointed. My ramen lacked salt, flavour and spring onions. Not sure if they eggs were actually eggs?? Not sure why there were meatballs? that were tasteless in the ramen. I left half the bowl uneaten. Waiting staff were unsure what they were serving to customers, much to improve on.
