they serve asian noodles, rice, soup and dumplings. there’s a couple of vegetarian options so I tried the tofu and mushroom broth pho. it definitely packed flavour but I wish there was more tofu and vegetables. it’s reasonably priced for the airport because everything is overpriced.
A nice change from cafe style food or fast food. Tuk Chop was a pleasant surprise. The laksa was good. Wish I didn’t have to eat out of plastic though. Portion size was good. Staff wee very friendly and helpful in slightly changing my order. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Takeaway or eat at the nearby tables.
I was looking for a place to grab some food before catching my flight. They are located on the far end by the airline lounges. There were other options around but this place seemed fairly cheap compared to the others. They had quite a few different options for food, which they make on order. I had the beef hor fun. It was ok albeit a bit bland. They were also using the wrong type of noodles.
Service was quick, price was reasonable for airport foods, taste pretty good too.
Toooooo expensive dumpling $7 just 3pcs noodle is too salty and kids meal size.
Love they staffs and they food I did order congee for me and my daughter, it was originally only vegetarian so no meat in it but because of my daughter she loved prawns then I did asked for additional. The staffs were so friendly and was so helpful. They made special prawns congee for us! How sweet! The congee taste the best as I use to have in Thailand!! Definitely recommend ‍
VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN THEN STAY WELL AWAY!! I've just had the most interesting incident at Tuk Chop Brisbane Airport. I just ordered a vegan stir fry with Tofu and found a big piece of pork in the middle after I had eaten half. I understand mistakes happen, its when I said I have an allergic reaction and the managers comeback was "you shouldn't say vegan then. You should say allergic". His argument was saying that if I hadn't of said vegan and had of said allergic that they wouldn't of put pork in it. He went on to tell me that vegan means cooked in the same wok as meat and proceeded to argue that I was wrong.
Been here one time before a flight and got a banh mi which is a Vietnamese sub kind of sandwich with the bbq pork char sui. It was wonderfully delicious a mixture of sweet and spicy plus fresh. Worth checking out if you feel like Vietnamese food before your travels .
For general airport food, the foods prepared here, although made fresh was just okay, at least would be dishes expected from an in-flight menu. Simple service, a small dining space, but definitely tiny portions.
