Food all looked incredible. Prepared right in front of you. Service was outstanding and we both chose burgers. 1/2 pound beef was huge and juicy, crispy chicken was not much smaller and crunchiest chicken my wife ever had on a burger. Cheers team will have to be back to try those nice looking dumplings and tacosFood: 5/5
Sooo satisfied For dinner last night we had the prawns to start and they were like heaven on earth! I had the delicious mushroom pasta for my main and my friends had the salmon and the lamb fillet. We all absolutely loved our meals and the staff were wonderful. We will be back asap!
Today I was in a rush to get home and stopped at Tucker in Tirau. I have allergies and find it hard to get something agreeable. Today I had the most and best ever toasted sandwich not in the menu just gf cheese and bacon. Thank you chef. Friendly staff. Will stop next time.
Awesome cafe to visit especially for ordering food on the menu, for proper dining. The open plan kitchen compliments the food quality.
We stopped and had brunch at Tucker on Saturday and we are glad we did. Food was exceptional with a good range of things the rice bowl was amazing. The service was outstanding and we will be back
We found Tucker when looking for somewhere for lunch while journeying south and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Staff are very friendly and the size of the restaurant makes it easy to chat with the chef. The Waikato has a toastie challenge this May, so the husband opted for Tucker’s entry: a cheeseburger toastie. It was apparently very good and tasted just like a cheeseburger but in toastie form. I opted for the rice bowl with grilled tuna. The tuna was some of the best cooked tuna I’ve had in a long time. The menu also has burgers, soft tacos and more, plus cabinet food too. Next time you’re passing through Tirau stop by for tasty refreshments and lovely service.
I went to Tucker on my way to Rotorua and I must say my dining experience was superb. My waitress was great using’My love’ and ‘My Dear’ which I personally adore. Great attention to detail. Friendly, prompt service. I had a Kumara and apple sausage roll, a pau a raisin with Americana coffee. Simple but delicious. I will certainly be back. Thank you for restoring my faith in the cafe experience.
The food was all very good, and the waitresses very friendly and helpful. They were able to clarify options for different dietary requirements, although these aren't all shown on the menu, and everything came as we specified. The green side salad was good but would have benefited from more avocado, the potato and kumara rosti was delicious, very high quality, and the Tucker Rice Bowl is vegan if you don't have the aioli or pickled veg and was even nicer than we thought it would be. Kumara fries nicely crispy. Food was a little slow to come but worth it! The atmosphere is just on the side of the main road, not amazing, but most eateries in this town are along the same road. Vegetarian options: Tucker Rice Bowl, green side salad, kumara fries, smoothies, desserts and more Dietary restrictions: GF and DF smoothies, Tucker Rice Bowl can be vegan. Green side salad I think will be DF and GF. Servers know or are willing to check dietary requirement questions.
Inconspicuous Cafe from the outside, once inside though it offered Absolutely Delicious food!! Thank you so much for Fabulous Dining and Service!! Highly Recommend!!Food: 5/5
