The food was expensive, NZ$25 for the fried noodles, extremely small serving, gravy tasted weird, very salty, starchy and sweet. The lemongrass chicken rice was of small amount forgot to take initial photo before eating. Very salty, couldn't taste the lemon grass and as you can see from the photo, chicken was very dry. Never go there. There are much better restaurants elsewhere. Anywhere but there. Not recommended at all! Rate it a 1.
The food was flavourful - fresh and satisfying. 2 seafood dishes and the chicken stir fry. I would definitely go back. Credit card machine was faulty today but online payment was available. Robot delivery was a cute idea.
What a lovely birthday dinner! Celebrated 30th dinner birthday for my daughter in law and family with so much fun and full tummy after. Very accommodating staff and quick service. The robot was another great experience. My grandchildren enjoyed every delivery of the food to our table. As usual the lychee milk shake did not fail us again and again. Keep it up guys
Spring rolls were crunchy, fresh & delicious! Vermicelli & pork dish was also great, so much flavour. Pho was good but not as flavourful as it normally is. Tried pork summer rolls for the first time. They were ok but wouldn't get them again. Lovely friendly service :
Pleasant surprise. Fast and friendly service with an extensive menu! Love that the menu has pictures as reference to help choose what to have! Generous serving sizes! I loved my Bahn Mi and coffee
This restaurant is always busy every time I come including holidays. The restaurant looks simple but you will be surprised by the taste of the food. You can add the sauces according to your preference, they are placed on the table. Also there is always a free pot of hot tea for you. Drink some tea before eating. Tea helps your tongue feel the flavor of food more clearly.
Food is just okay. Had the pho and lemon grass chicken bahn Mi. The bahn Mi had very little filling and for $14 was expensive. The pho was just normal pho. Nothing to write home about. The sauces for the pho has been watered down and no Chili oil to give it that pop was really disappointing. I might go back but not for either of those dishes.
Paid $19 for beef rice noodle soup for takeaway and the soup was lukewarm - the raw beef stayed raw all the way. Even the bean sprouts stayed raw. Saigon kitchen across the road is 100 times better. I think their price is $15 or $16 or something and portion is much bigger. Also their soup is hot, not lukewarm and the portion is much bigger. Too bad they were closed because it was a Monday.
We live in the West but is always happy to eat here when we're in the area! Staff are very friendly and food comes extremely quickly. There is a large variety of menu items, but you can't go wrong with a traditional Pho! IMO the Pho was perfect, just the right balance of flavours, not too over and under for anything. We also had some prawn/pork and beef spring rolls and they were super fresh and delicious as well. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are in the area and I'm sure they would appreciate your patronage in these times!
They changed the noodles and didn't inform us, its a strange wide noodle and the portion is so small. And the price of meals have gone up around $25. Waste of my money. Not coming to try it out anymore!
