Motel built in 1987 still has the original tyles in the bathroom. Was given 2 different prices on the phone also a different price online but online doesn't give you an opportunity to book a ground floor room as i required wasn't told about free breakfast or no refund if I had to leave early. Bed wasn't changed during the 6 night stay and the shower curtain rail falls off the wall as its broken. Full of excuses when asked questions as to why the price was 30 dollars a night above the online price
The complex itself is a dump. Ground floor room, only block out curtains. No privacy blinds so if you want natural light, everyone who walks right past your room can see right in. Lots of people smoking, drinking, loitering and talking outside our room for hours. I actually felt quite UNSAFE and that's no exaggeration.nInside, NO toilet paper even though it had 2 roll dispensers. They were both empty. No milk provided for the coffee or tea. Half the powerpoints dont work. Fridge door inside broken so couldn't stand a soft drink bottle up. No top sheet on bed. Just a prickly wooden blanket. Pillow was like a rock. Old and run down. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Just a disgusting property. Find somewhere else to stay.
We are travelling with a dog so not a lot of choice. Price was right but this is a low budget property as reflected in the pricing which will attract strugglers. We had no problems but it's not the Ritz! If you know this going in you’ll be ok.
A budget motel excellent position on the highway south side of Rockhampton close to the CBD. Large room queen + single with big bathroom. Free breakfast supplied. Upstairs road noise is minimal. Easy parking, select your spot. Friendly service, easy book-in.
Dirty floor I had to put my shoes on. Mouldy shower and curtain and the shower kept dripping. Toilet seat didn’t fit and toilet paper so thin and useless. The wall under the bench had food on it. Very run down no maintenance. BUT the bed was very comfy and location perfect to continue our trip south. Won’t go back as we don’t feel the ambience for the money.
