Formal atmosphere with starched white table cloths and table service. Clean and quiet. Food is very good quality but adapted to western tastes. Wide menu of all your old favorites. Reasonably priced based on the quality. Upmarket compared to Box Hill but not innovative.
Stumbled across this place while going to a Korean restaurant and decided to eat here because the Korean restaurant was full. We were so glad that it was full because we were able to find triple king. Definitely coming back to eat here again!! Amazing service and food! You truly get what you pay for. Best Chinese restaurant I've eaten at.
The Triple King Chinese Restaurant is one of those well established restaurants that has been doing it well for a long time. Experienced waiters with a sense of humour and style make it happen seamlessly with the apparent ease of a thoroughly professional unit. Can thoroughly recommend these guys. They are professionals at their craft.
I've come here many time over several years, either to eat in or to get a quick takeout, and the standard has never failed once. To dine in, the wait staff really are beyond comparison, and the foot quality is better than any other Chinese restaurant I have encountered outside of China.
Waited over one hour for our entrees, sure it was busy at the time. But they came out over a 20 minute period, promoting extremely hunger & food envy. Mains only slightly better - another 50 minutes, when the restaurant by now was almost empty. And I had to complain to the desk over the delay - 2 mains arrived together, then nothing for the other 3 members of our family for another 15 minutes. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I won't be repeating the experience - all hope for a pleasant social meal with my family turned into a frustrating, eye-rolling experience. NEVER AGAIN!! Pity because the food was good when we finally got it.
Came here on route to a friend who lives nearby. Food is good, price is ok. We ordered Takeaway and the wait time was a little long and the waiting area is very small. Suggest phone ahead order. but service was great. A good chinese resturant in Mount Albert Area :-
Easy website to use. Popped over to Purvis Wines to get a wine then picked up meal. Delicious. Thank you. Great service greeted at door. And also when leaving.
Beautiful food time and time again! We often eat here and have never had a bad meal. The service is great and the range of meals is extensive! Enjoy
Wouldn't bother going If your anything other than Chineses I felt like I was not wanted in there and the lettuce that I was served with the fried calamari was not up to standard moldy I paid top doller but did not receive the top doller experience.
