I thought this church believed the gospel correctly until I found one of their old gospel tracts saying you must repent of your sins. Asked the Pastor about this and it didn't end well. Michael Leslie told me believing the gospel is not enough.

He tried making me look stupid as he implied that I was telling him all that someone has to do, to be saved is just believe that Jesus is real and their then now saved. Just believing in God or a God doesn't save anyone. Repentance is needed for salvation, but it is not repentance from sins. 

"Repent and Believe the Gospel"

The majority of this world, don't believe the gospel, they believe that they are a good person or they are trusting in some sort of religion to save them. They need to repent from this, understand they are not a good person, they are a sinner on their way to Hell. Then "believe" the gospel to save them, "Trust", "depend", "rely", on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ  alone to save them. 

My brother got saved and Michael Leslie refused to baptise him, because he needed to see his "fruits" aka "works" of repentance which is ridiculous. Looked at his fruit in the pew and asked what they believe and was told, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." ..

The pastor believes you have to stop sining to be saved even though he still sins,  because everyone sins

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

I always find there is great practical messages given. They also have a good focus on reaching out to less affluent community with the Gospel.
