Pies are awesome! Can't go past the chunky steak had to order another. Great size place and has a fireplace. Service is very fast!
The cheapest pies around. For less than $5 you get a good pie. Chunky chicken had huge chunks of chicken, but very little sauce making it dry. The chunky steak was tastier. This place is extremely busy, probably due to the reasonable prices and fast service. 3.5 stars
Wow I really enjoyed this place! My partner and I travelled from Canberra to try it because we were in the mood for really good pies. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!! Friendliest service and amazing food/coffee. Will definitely come back here!! Oh and you HAVE to try their chilli pie xx
For the price it is a solid 4 star. Coffees were 3.90 0.75 for an extra shot and worth it. The steak and mushroom pie was pretty good 4.80 but the sausage roll 3.30 was a little dry, but given the extremely cheap prices, this place is a great stop for coffee and a snack between Sydney and Canberra.
The chunky steak pie contained chunks of gravy, thickener and salt with a small piece of steak. Convenient location and warm seatings.
The one Cafe at Balls head, coffee always better than the food, service is nice
