for the second time, bus arrived and left 2 minutes early. I was on the opposite side of the road each time, which means i could've made it if they arrived/left on time. ended up waiting for the next bus and being late to my destination. and when i arrive 5 minutes early, they arrive 5 minutes late, so i don't see the point in arriving early either. they have become very unreliable as they don't follow bus times anymore.
Today I was heading for a 279 bus on Midleborough Rd heading for Box Hill, realised when halfway over the Ped crossing I didn't have a hope of catching the bus which had just pulled up the the stop. I'm in my 70s, don't run too well these days. The driver waited, & when I got closer he opened the doors for me. Bless the driver of bus # 1160 at around midday, 14 Sept. He was fully masked, as are all drivers I see, & so very kind. A wonderful representative of Transdev.
By the worst bus service EVER!! I'm completely pissed at having to wait 20 minutes for a late bus then, having to pay for it THEN being late for work. All because your drivers can't keep up with a time table OR deliberately run late to off load and run express. Fix the problem, or give the 901 back to Ventura who was able to manage it effectively. Late again 8/10 days

I went to try and convince them to wear a mask when they are driving the buses. 50% of TransDev Buses in Doncaster do not wear fitted masks during the COVID Lockdowns. They simply refuse
Unreliable service and aggressive driver. 905 service is so unpredictable, it rarely comes on time. Mostly late, but occasionally leaves too early 2 mins before the scheduled arrival time. Got yelled at yesterday by one of the drivers for pushing the stop button too early, which he says flashed it his eyes and apparently it was common sense for me to know that. I have been catching the same bus for 5 years and no driver has ever expressed that has an issue or been that aggressive. If anything, most drivers say to do it early so they don't have to stop abruptly. Never expected to be that upset and frightened by catching the bus, and it be as a result of an interaction with the driver. Actively scared to take the bus now. It is bad enough that I have to put up with the ineffective service, but also unnecessary and inappropriate aggression from the driver too now.
Great place to work friendly staff
My daughter has had to walk 10kms home because 3/5 buses simply don't show. Other times, if it's pouring or ridiculously hot, I have had to leave work to pick her up, because the buses are so unreliable. It's absolutely outrageous how often we are let down by these buses - the 280 in particular. Not good enough. It's disgraceful.
Cancels buses for no reason or its 30 minutes late. No apology given. No reasons given. Myki card readers which do not work. Drivers response as to why a bus is late or did not run is always "I only drive this bus, I do not know anything about any other buses. No I can not radio the depot to ask why the other bus is an hour late. Call the depot." Even though its a sunday and they know that the depot public phone line does not operate on sundays.
Unorganized and rude with zero care for the customers they are there to serve. Transdev drivers are happy to drive past passengers at bus stops and leave them waiting for an hour just to make timetable and meal breaks/ driver swaps.
