Enjoyed the feel of this local cafe. It is almost as if you are invited into the lives of the owners. The coffee is very good and the breakfast options are decent. Since only the owners work in there, your order can take a bit of time.
Small joint with a fairly limited menu. I'm not a local, but the owner?/barista seemed to know almost everyone else that came in. He greeted them by name as they came in. The food was fresh and tatsy. Simple, but very well prepared. The toilet is near to the kitchen, which is a bit ummm weird. Very close seating. Probably better for take away. Coffee is ok, bit bitter for me.
The partner-run establishment is always full of positive and calm energy. The coffee is fantastic, the service friendly, and the atmosphere cosy and quaint. What more could you want?
I liked this place. The food was very good, as was the coffee and it was easy to get a seat. Should be 4.5 stars really. Oh, lovely staff - felt like a real local cafe. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is there are local rivals that do a range of gourmet breakfasts with fresh, authentic croissants....
Great little unpretentious local cafe. Coffee is excellent, the friendly barista knows what he's doing and makes a quality coffee everytime. Food is straightforward, but always tasty with fresh ingredients. Prices are absolutely fine for what you get. Service time is quick too, you won't be waiting ages for your coffee like in many cafes these days. Seems small inside but one you're seated it's very comfortable and laid back, not too cramped at all. In a wonderful hidden pocket of Lewisham.

A beautiful little cafe with some of the best coffee I've had. Anything that you want they'll make and cheap as too. I have a few café's to choose from and I go there every time.

Since moving to Lewisham a year ago i have come to enjoy the fresh food and tasty coffee that I get each and every time I visit the cafe. Service is always wonderful which is a bonus!
Here’s a relaxed atmosphere – with a unique communal dining table and a mismatched homely feel. Forget pretension – this is good, honest food – with mainstays such as poached eggs on sour dough bread plus rocket salad. Barista, cook pictured and owner always ready for a friendly chat.
