Bought Clothes Dryer which gets daily use because no outside clothes line . Been working well for a couple of months now with no problem. Great value for money. 
I had a small issue with them wanting more personal details than I thought they needed before they would ship the goods, despite my having paid and them having my money. It wasn't  until I told them that I wasn't providing all the  details that they wanted and if they weren't happy about it then they could refund my money, that  they sent the dryer. I have subsequently bought other appliances from them without any hassle.

Bought a mid-sized chest freezer for my parents. Shopped around online and found Trade Depot was better priced than other stores. Delivery costs were good, but I decided to pick it up myself as I was going down to Auckland for the weekend anyway. Online ordering was super easy. Staff at the pickup desk in Onehunga were amazing. Chest freezer is working great. Highly recommended.

Have had the worst customer service experience with Trade Depot. The staff including Enrico, Steve and Scott (the Store Manager) are some of the most unprofessional customer service reps I have ever come across. After selling the product to us, upon pick up (paid for a van for pick up) we find out they are out of stock for the product sold. They asked us to buy another product after almost two hours of waiting in the store and told us there is pretty much nothing they can do about the situation as they have 3 people looking for the product bought and have already lost the profit on the item with no apology whatsoever. I wrote a complaint to Scott who has not bothered return my numerous phone calls or reply to my e-mails, if the Store Manager cannot be bothered attending to serious customer complaints, its no wonder the staff has this low of level of professionalism. Would not recommend !!!!

Great product but not good communication... Asked for a tracking number and never got one until I phoned up on the day of delivery.... Had a hard time to understand the foreign person in the office and got the tracking number wrong so had to phone back again... Would have not had to go through that had the tracking number been sent when requested,,,,  Sorry but simple things make life easier Cheers

Bought two items together:
- One item photograph shows a tap though tap was not included in the purchase. Slightly misleading.
- Other item purchased was out of stock. They provided the same item of a differently colour.

Delivery service was absolutely terrible. After 4 days of ringing back and forth between Trade Depot and the freight company Streamline Freight, everyone from Trade Depot I spoke to just tried to pawn me off to Streamline Freight. Streamline Freight down right refuses to take any instructions from me and said they only take instructions from Trade Depot. Only one person sounded helpful. She confirmed the delivery date and one item arrived as scheduled. Second item arrived a day late. Despite multiple reassurances that the driver will call before delivery, I received no calls. Both items were left at the door. Trade Depot needs better communication with Streamline Freight, or work with better delivery company.

TL; DR. Reluctant to purchase from Trade Depot again unless I have all the time in the world waiting around with the door wide open indefinitely.
