We love visiting this cafe - the service was very friendly the owner Mark is very welcoming too!, the food and drinks were delicious. The vibe of the place is relaxing - there is a little cubby house at the back that’s nice for kids. We tried their crumbed fish + chips, sweet potato toasties, and cheese burger. All were very well done. If we come to the area we’ll definitely come again!
Had a lovely lunch outdoors - under cover as it started raining. The minestrone soup was hearty. They put too much foam on a flat white tho.Food: 4/5
We had a lovely lunch, great food good service, right up until the owner, Mark decided to berate the staff loudly and repeatedly in front of the customers. This is not a good management style. Please respect your employees.Food: 4/5
We regularly get take away from tractor 828 and there is always a bit of a wait time, which we understand and happily wait every week. The last time we got take away just a couple burgers. It was the most unprofessional and disgusting service I’ve received in my life. The kitchen staff were screaming at each other over the counter. The old man that seems to be a manger of some sort yelled at the chef “ this is why I told you we need to stop doing take away during the lunch period”. Right in front of myself and others waiting for take away one person from the fire brigade had just spent over $200 getting burgers for the other fire fighters. Save yourself and don’t support terrible service.
Service was really friendly & welcoming which was received in no time at all & at a reasonable cost. The menu was varied with a specials menu offered as well. I had a hard choice as every thing appealed to me except the bacon not halal but you can ask for it to be omitted. Absolutely delightful, the coffee hot & delicious, & the fresh squeezed orange juice just right. The photo says it all. Yum! Delicious & we’ll be back.

Tractor 828 never fails to disappoint, ordered the chicken schnitzel burger with a side of chips and I can tell you it was made to absolute perfection, the chicken schnitzel wasn’t undercooked or over cooked but it was cooked just right, the burger has a very flavourful taste and the chips had the right amount of salt balance and tasted nice and fresh, ordered the vanilla thick shake for my drink and it was delicious , there wasn’t so much ice cream that it got stuck in the straw which is perfect and it had the right balance of vanilla flavour, milk and ice cream. I would have given it a 5 star review but the service was a bit slow even though there weren’t many people at the time but hey there’s always room for improvement, I highly recommend coming to this place for your lunch or breakfast. Keep up the good work
Good food absolutely spoiled by the disgusting behaviour of the owner/manager, Mark. A single coffee order seemed to have been missed on an outside table, so he stormed inside, screamed and yelled at his staff, threw plates and cutlery down and carried on for ages about how useless they were and that they were too focused on running food that they missed the coffee order. Stormed in and out and kept making it known how pissed he was at them for ages. All right in front of myself and the other indoor seated customers. Another customer left after barely starting his meal due to this behaviour, letting the staff know that they shouldn’t accept this treatment, and telling Mark he wouldn’t be back thanks to his gross outburst. Mark: you need anger management therapy. You do not treat people like this, ESPECIALLY your staff. I bet screaming at young women probably working for minimum wage in their first job makes you feel like a big man. Gross. Sort yourself out. So many options to deal with your emotions that don’t involve angry outbursts, bullying, and intimidation tactics. Go for a walk. Do some exercise. Use a stress ball. DON’T treat your staff like this. Mark didn’t apologise to his staff. I will not be back - I refuse to support a business that treats its staff like this. I will be telling everyone I know not to go. I hope your staff record your next outburst and submit a FairWork complaint. Also: I’m 99% sure his staff hadn’t missed the coffee order - those customers hadn’t ordered it. Irrelevant though - even if it had been ordered and missed, your staff are human, they don’t deserve to be treated like that, even if a mistake had been made.

Tractor just keeps getting better and better. With the addition of fine dining nights, bistro Saturday nights and weekly weekend specials, it’s certainly worth the drive. The staff here are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. Sharon also creates some of the most mouth watering cakes that you MUST try before you leave. Follow tractor on insta for their specials. There’s always something whether you have a sweet tooth like me just look at those pancake specials! or if you’re more of a savoury person, you won’t be disappointed
