What a cute shop this is. The shelves are brimming with colourful toys, games, books and other adorable items to buy for your kids, grandchildren, etc.

Best gift/ toy shop in the area. A great variety of gifts, jigsaw puzzles, craft kits. You’d very likely find a present for all ages. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Very passionate about his products as well. It’s good to know that he has tested most of the shop’s goods! Highly recommend!!

One of my favourite local shops ever! The owner is so attentive and knowledgable about the products, can really help refine your choice so much variety in store you need it. You can't not have a great experience at The Toybox.

Good prices for the toys and really nice service

This shop stopped us in our tracks looked really unique and inviting however the door was locked so assumed staff was at lunch, then they let my 6 year old and his 11 year old cousin in and locked the door behind them, locking the parents outside of the shop. Given that I have never visited this shop before and there were 2 men inside I felt very uncomfortable, I knocked on the window and no-one unlocked the door until I continuously knocked and my sister-in-law was pulling on the door handle. Never have I visited a toy shop where children are locked inside without their parents.  Your reply stating that we were outside the shop just baffles me at why you or your staff would lock children in. It was the middle of the day on a Thursday it wasn't busy and there was no queue or anyone else even interested in entering and if they did you could explain that due to covid restrictions you limit the amount of people in the store. Locking children is a toy shop is bewildering and to say I am trying to slander an small independent store is ludicrous. Your reviews have a pattern of rude and unusual behaviour and you either claim its out of character or deny it and become rude. The reviews speak for them selves There is never any excuse to lock customers especially 6 year old children in a store whether their parents are right by the window or not!
