Usually excellent service especially with Dr Reena. In fact, all the staff are very good. I did recently have a mental health crisis and rang to get a telephone consultation for help with sleep. Was told only phone consultation are for Covid checks as in cold and flu now. Chemist needed letter from doctor before giving me something to help with sleep. All good now, saw Dr Reena today. She sorted it out for me.
Made an online appointment at Townsville GP Superclinic last night because they were pretty much the only place with any availability. Called this morning because I have “COVID symptoms” and got told I couldn’t attend. The receptionist confirmed all of my details and said she’d put me down for a phone consult. Assumed I ticked all the boxes, can’t remember exactly when I last attended but doesn’t seem that long ago. Got a call at 2 my appointment was 1.45 from a different receptionist advising I could still do the phone appointment but it would cost $85. I asked why I hadn’t been told this when I called earlier and she responded that it was because I booked online and reiterated I could still have the appointment for $85. I always try to keep my cool with the person on the phone but she just kept pushing the $85 again and again. When I asked to file a complaint I was directed to an email - so I have to put in more effort for them to do SFA… What an absolute joke…
I came to the GP Superclinic after having a disappointing experience at another clinic. The waiting time was way less than I thought it would be. The doctor I saw was kind, made me feel heard and showed attention to details. I appreciate the professionalism and how helpful the staff were.
Efficient reception. Doctor was so calm and easy to talk to. He took the time to listen. We started the journey to get myself better and I feel confident we will get there. Thanks so much
WARNING: Do not do Pre-employment Medicals here. - Lost 30 days before we restarted with another clinic. - They will knowingly send incomplete medicals. incl Doctors not filling out paperwork correctly and referrals also not being completed properly. - 0 Initiative or customer service, customers will need to chase and arrange everything. - Known by other clinics and mine sites as being hard to deal with. - Complaints treated with a petulant attitude.
Dr Ruhul Jamali gave me the worst Gp experience I have ever had in my life. I have never received such bad treatment, poor bedside manner and dismissive treatment from the moment I entered the room. After waiting over an hour for my scheduled appt, he refused to provide me with even a basic checkup and just sent me on my way with a blood test referral within 1 minute of sitting down. Despite my protests, he would not listen to anything I had to say and simply turned back to his computer to indicate he had finished talking. I could not have been more disappointed with his lack of care.
Dr Reena Sinha is the most professional and compassionate Doctor I have had in over fifty years. The staff at Townsville GP Superclinic are respectful, discreet and extremely professional. I have recommended this practice to all of my friends and family.
Dr Coulter is excellent. He listens, he explains options, he investigates, he treats. I’ve had ongoing issues post ankle surgery now 9 weeks with spitting stitches leading to haematomas and deep infection. One dr I saw here wouldn’t even look at it - just wrote a script for my 4th lot of antibiotics! Dr Coulter looked, arranged swab and prescribed stronger antibiotics. On return visit he arranged an ultrasound to investigate - remaining undissolved stitches have been located and will be removed this week. These spitting stitches and the pain, haematomas and infection that are coming up with them have been slowing my rehab. I’m so grateful to Dr Coulter for listening and investigating and doing his job thoroughly so I can heal and be able to walk again. Thankyou
Dr Gary Coulter you are the most arrogant, rude, offensive doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Hang your head in pure shame mate as your a disgrace..learn some people skills and if you don’t want to be at work then it’s best you quit. You even gave me my scripts in someone else’s name and when this was pointed out, you told your poor receptionist to get someone else to deal with it and me. Time to retire I reckon. Sorry to your poor receptionist who had to fix your mistakes. She is better at your job than you
