The Townsville Council has started shutting a unique place, the Ross River Dam walk, the longest dam wall in the southern hemisphere. Go and see this thing before no one is allowed to see the unique amazing views from its walls. The purpose of shutting this well known place where tourists and locals go to enjoy views is to shut down the tourist industry by knocking out one of the few places of any interest in Townsville. the best place where views across the water can be had had the stairs smashed up by the council. 25 percent of the dam wall was shut without asking anyone. the dam was the only place in townsville that was truly unique in the entire country .
