Tourism Accreditation
The Australian Tourism Accreditation Program is a national business development program based on Quality Assurance principals. Accreditation is a vital industry asset designed to continually improve standards, market quality product and enhance the reputation of tourism destinations. The TICT manages the accreditation program in Tasmania for nearly 1,000 tourism operators, providing business development assistance through online facilities, on-site visits and a State-wide team of consultants.
Tasmanian Tourism Conference
The Tasmanian Tourism Conference is hosted by the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT). The conference aims to facilitate learning and networking opportunities for the Tasmanian tourism industry. The Tasmanian Tourism Conference draws delegates from all sectors of the industry, including accommodation, tours, retail and attractions.
Tasmanian Tourism Awards
The Tasmanian Tourism Awards are presented annually by the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT) on behalf of the tourism industry. The awards recognise outstanding achievement across all sectors of the tourism industry, and are designed to promote and reward business excellence in our industry. They encourage and celebrate professionalism, creativity and innovation and provide a benchmark for best practice in the tourism industry; and also enable our star products and experiences to attain national recognition through the Australian Tourism Awards.
