Story

Originally built in 1857 the Torrens Arms Hotel is a favourite to many and still upholds the façade built by John Prince. Affectionately known to the locals at the TA, the Torrens Arms Hotel is a great place to meet with friends and family for fantastic food and with a vast array of drinks, you will be sure to find your favourite or even try something new!

Located in leafy Kingswood, just minutes from Adelaide’s CBD and directly opposite the Wallis Cinemas at Mitcham’s shopping centre, the TA features three bars, function area, outdoor courtyard with HUGE LED screen, gaming room, TAB facilities and drive thru bottle shop.

It's a suburban pub. Meh, food's adequate, service is fine. Not much wrong with it, not much to get excited about.

Staff really do have a, lack of service, attitude towards the customers. We were in front bar so no comment on rest of hotel. But pleasant, helpful service is not their forte. Adelaide service generally is sub standard compared to all other States but this was below average for SA.

I love it here. Really good food and service. Someone's food wasn't quite right and they fixed it straight away.

Very nice Venue! It got busy around 6pm! Food good! Plenty of room around tables.

Pleasant place to have a decent lunch out in the courtyard.  Enjoyed these food and the surroundings.

Good was nice, however found that the bar staff and manager were a little rude and dismissive. Not bad enough to ruin the night, but a few people made comments about their attitudes.
