Wonderful use of showgrounds property, with a well thought out position of different entertainment and vendors. The grounds are kept tidy and it's easy enough to navigate. The Toowoomba Show is one of the main reasons we have visited the grounds but even at other times throughout the year the property is well maintained. The only thing lacking sightly is the carpark, simply being a section of the grounds without pavement - but that's really no big deal.
Showgrounds are a short distance to Toowoomba city and Queen's Park, the other beautiful parks and the Japanese Garden. The amenities were basic but the commercial washer and dryer top notch. The grounds when wet unfortunately can become wet and boggy, and quite muddy to navigate on foot. Nonetheless, we love the beauty and green nature of Toowoomba, which during it's annual flower shows is hard to beat! It is a clean city and the showgrounds are couched in a pleasant valley setting with a lake and birdlife. We recommend Toowoomba showgrounds to those with children in the finer Summer months without rain to avoid mud underfoot and the kids dirtying themselves generally.
Fantastic spot for a stop over or a few nights stay. $25 for the night was a good price but the ladies showers were not clean. Only two suppled. Apparently gets very busy when events are on. Hige area.
A very picturesque setting by the lake with a number of well kept facilities and dump point. Washing machine and dryer $4 p/load needing $1 coins. Approx 6kms from the cbd. Highly recommend.
Excellent place to stop in and have a good break. Lovely to walk around to the lake and have a chat to other visitors. Showers are amazing and facilities clean and well kept.

Sensational place to camp. 248 acres of playground for you to enjoy. Now I know about this place I will be back.
Best showgrounds in the Toowoomba region. We are up here for the Monaro Nationals from 29th September to 3rd of October.
Lovely showgrounds with huge sites, beautiful views and sunset, a huge dam with ducks and geese. Lots of horses around which electrified the atmosphere. Loved staying at the campgrounds. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will be back.
