Spoke to Darlene to book a room at the Library and had the best experience. The world should have more Darlene's, she was so patient and a real credit to your Library. Nothing was too much trouble. Bubbly personality and she made my day much nicer.
Beautiful library with easy ample underground parking in the centre of the city., excellent spaces to relax, read or meet. Friendly informative staff - well don Toowoomba.
I cannot knock the utilities, materials or staff.nAccessibility and opening hours are however a vastly different story. It is a shame that whoever cut the library hours so ridiculously, assumes that people do not work and do not work on weekends.nI also noted that the wheelchair access to the building in facilities is apparent, but it is a pity that the person who decreed the opening hours also assumes that no disabled person works.nOf course, children will be relying more on their phones, as books at the library or school, become more and more unobtainable.nThe library is functional , just not accessible for many. If you don’t know, the meanings of these words, look it up on your phone. I’m assuming also that Google is accessible to everyone because the library will more than likely be closed.nSaturdays – 10 till 2.30nSundays – forget it.nPublic holidays – don’t even think about it.
Always grateful for the wonderful assistance from staff, very polite and caring, as well as knowledgeable.nnA wonderful selection of books as well, always find what I'm looking for!
