TOOWONG RSL Sub-Branch

"The Toowong RSL Sub-Branch was formed in 1919 by surviving ANZACS of the First World War to look after each other. As most had physical &/or mental wounds, the difficulties encountered were best addressed from within by themselves, the ones who had experienced the horrors of war.Today, the Toowong RSL is there for past & currentserving members of the A.D.F. , full timers and reservists. There are also Social Memberships available to anyone who is sympathetic to our causes.We are also unofficial custodians of the second oldest Cenotaph in Australia, situated on the top of the hill at Toowong Memorial Park.Our home office is currently unmanned but we are contactable 24/7 by phone 07 3870 1379"
