This small community library in Toowong plays a vital role in the area. It is a branch of the Brisbane City Council library and is a favorite among many due to its diverse offerings. The library provides ample space, desks, chairs, and sockets for people who want to use their laptops. Additionally, it has plenty of computers, printers, and sofas. For those who prefer to read physical books, they can order them online and have them delivered to the library closest to them for pick up. The staff at this library are also friendly and helpful, making for a great experience overall.

Great little library, after hours return slots at the front entrance, with the new automated “book shelf” return system inside, to the left once inside the main doors. Simply return your books by placing them onto the open shelves and it will automatically scan them in. Just remember to double check the screen is correctly displaying the number of books returned/or the book titles. Books issued from any local library branch you choose can be returned to any Brisbane library. Very relaxed & comfortable armchairs & seating areas with study tables along the window area, which is a popular spot for students. The staff are extremely approachable, friendly & eager to help if needed. The library is modern, light & bright with a very relaxed atmosphere. Its a popular spot for mums with bubs, there is a closed in book area for the young ones, & the library offers regular story time reading sessions, just check with the staff for session times & details.
Amazing place to do study, writing your report or assignment. Sometimes some unconscious person try to break the silence, but its negligible.
The environment is tidy and clean. Come for my resume and forgot to bring cash to print. The whole teams were so friendly and helpful. They kindly helped me with my print stuff and registered library member for me 10mins early bf close. I can understand why ppl need reading and learning. It will definitely enrich people’s soul and head.
Why does the staff here allow rude people to talk, eat, and play loud music from their phone? More of a circus than a library.
Good library w reliable fast wifi, the only downside is that it is too small and there is not a lot of tables if you plan on studying.
This is my favourite public library. I love the view from the study area and how friendly the front desk staff were. I practically lived here when I had no power after the Brisbane flooding and really appreciate the opportunity to charge my devices and have a lovely cup of warm tea which I missed so much! whilst still getting some study done. Will definitely be back here in the future as its in such a convenient location!
