Called in for an early lunch yesterday after seeing a glowing review in the newspaper and we were not disappointed. This is seriously tasty food. The dips were delicious and the coconut prawns with a chargrilled pineapple salsa had me searching for a recipe on the way home... Lovely girl looked after us who was bright and friendly also added to the enjoyment. Will definitely return to sample some more from an extensive menu. Highly recommended...
Wonderful tavern!! Beautiful scenery, warm & relaxed atmosphere created by its hospitable family and central fireplace. A great stop off for a locally brewed drink en journey ... or as a wedding reception venue.
Toolangi is a classic tavern with everything you could want - fireplace and warm shelter on a cold day, fantastic views, great food, and ample parking. It's easy to find and the staff are friendly and the prices are fair.
Not a bad feed, the fish and chips was quite tasty, the staff were also quite helpful

Great little pub with beautiful views back towards Toolangi state Forest. Rain or shine it's a great little stop over for a feed and drink with the benifit of a open fire for those cold winter days.
Great place! Service is always nice and food is great. Nice fireplace if you can manage to get a spot on the couch in front of it during winter the months. A kids play corner to keep the little ones occupied and an enclosed alfresco area with pool table. They've pretty much thought of everything here. We went for the first time about a month ago and have been 3 times since
We found this place by accident on our way home from a road trip. We were starving but craving good wholesome food. And boy did we find it! The roast chicken rivalled my mother's and I have NEVER said that as that is the highest standard possible. The food is the best homely country pub fair I have had. The view is fantastic. The many windows lent to a light and breezy atmosphere while the open fireplace provided a beautiful coziness. Would be a great place to bring family to or a big group for a celebration meal.
