Never had a tastier pie. Husband said his didn't even need tomato sauce and he has tomato sauce with everything! Great little bakery. Bit busy but not overly so, a short wait to get to the counter but still plenty of spots to sit. They did nice coffee too.
Quite busy and nice little bakery with a large selection of pies, pastries, cakes plus bread and rolls. A must try is the best apple pie 2021. Coffee is also available and though the indoor seating wasn't available, there are lots of chairs and tables outside to watch the world go by. A highly recommend stop when you are next in Toodyay.
Surprisingly good coffee for a bakery with a massive selection of awesome pies, sausage rolls and cakes. Sit out front on the terrace or sit upstairs on the balcony. Easy parking and friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try the sweet treats.
Easily one of the best bakery's I've been to and I'm a baker. I love Toodyay bakery, from great pies and sausage rolls, great freshly made sandwiches, beautiful fresh bread and a great selection of sweet treats. I tell everyone to go here, it's awesome. Not the mention the staff are always friendly and helpful and they make the best coffee in the Avon Valley too!!
No visit to Toodyay is complete without a visit to its bakery! Located in Toodyay's main street, the bakery is in a rustic old shop brimming with character. The choice of baked goodies is a sight to behold. I love the apple strudel and the jam donuts have just the right jam-to-donut ratio. Those with gluten intolerance can indulge as well, with plenty of GF options including carrot cake, florentines, and chocolate slice. The have various breads, buns and ciabatta as well. A variety of pies are available along with tea and coffee. However, it does attract a throng of customers. So many that customers have to enter in one door and exit from another. It is difficult to see what's on offer in the display cabinets and you feel pressured to make you choices quickly. Seating is available upstairs not sighted and on the pavement out front. Watch the world go by in a quaint country town while you polish off your bakery haul.
OMG. The best bakery in WA. We had a cappuccino that was amazing. I highly recommend the Salted Caramel Tart if you are a sweet tooth. The cinnamon scrolls was fantastic.
Very good bakery, sitting out and in side. Yummy apple blueberry crumble, good coffe.
Our hotel recommended we go here & it was a beauty. Long blacks were excellent and took our toasted not pressed ham & cheese gruyere up to the balcony & enjoyed the chilly morning views of Toodyay's main street - shared with the resident twenty eights.
An authentic old country bakery that serves beautiful aussie fare with grace and style. Pies, pasties, award winning sausage rolls and cakes galore as well as artisan bread ,hot freshly brewed coffee & tea, etc. The sights and the smells delight the senses. 14 foot ceilings, tables in the sun on the footpath , on a delightful upstairs balcony and cosy internal nooks complete the picture. A real find
Absolutely fantastic food. Such a gem, in a lovely town. We turned up and ordered 20 coffees, it was so fast, amazing service. Apple slice, sausage rolls, lamingtons some of the best I have ever had. Absolutely recommend!!
