Walked passed while looking for a place to have lunch. Drawn by the amount of people in there on a weekday afternoon. Ramen surprisingly good. Char siu was really nice. The only setback is that they left all the kitchen items lying outside. But the food is good! Definitely recommend to others .

Good bowl of ramen, service staff were prompt and friendly, great for solo diners and groups alike.

Came here for lunch, place is not full but waited for 20mins for a bowl of ramen. The ramen itself is good but considering the high price $16, it's expected. They blowtorch the chashu but mine was done very lightly so it's not smoky enough. So not sure why it took so long. A little disappointed with the slow service and chashu.

Visited this place on two separate occasions. The ramen was surprisingly delicious. The Tonkotsu broth was lighter side in comparison to other places in Sydney but the flavour was still strong. I also tried their Hokkaido Miso ramen which was equally great - butter and sweet corn is a must!

I suppose this was a good jp ramen restaurant, but DON'T go!! It is now called Sora, which is a very poor quality reman shop. Overcooked egg, very salty soup base, low quality noodle, not enough portion... it is every bad thing you can think of. Worst experience ever!!!

Excellent experience at Tontaro Hoten with super awesome services from the Chief! The ramen is great with yummy soup. The taste is totally unique!
