I’m a regular customer here; every Friday I buy ramen as a ritual. Today the gentleman serving at the front desk seemed to be having a bad day. Having driven home I found just 2 thin pieces of pork for a $12+ ramen. Rate 3 for the fact that it’s probably an off day. Else 5/5; especially the cha shu ramen. If it happens again would be tempted to try out the new sushi place in front of Carlingford court. Brown guys like ramen too!
I used to receive very bad service every time. But the vege rolls and vege tempura are too good I kept going back. The service has improved so much on my last few visits. I love how they don't charge for extra soy sauce and mayonnaise. Keep it up.
I am a regular at this shop and have tasted almost everything on the menu. Here's a quick overview of the dishes. The rice bowls and bento boxes consist of the same selection of meat. They're all good but If I were to put them on a tier list it would look like 1. Karaage, Wagyu beef 2. Chicken katsu, Salmon teriyaki 3. Chicken teriyaki, Chili chicken teriyaki Udon and Ramen noodles are pre-made but taste fine. I didn't really enjoy the udon but the ramen is probably the best you'll get from the area. The sushi at the front counter tastes surprisingly good and is great for situations where you just want a quick light meal. Really the only complaint you'll have when ordering from here is that some of the staff aren't very welcoming. -- A small complaint -- I've had a constant issue where the portions are completely off for the "Volcano Roll" and the "Grilled Salmon Roll". Sometimes I'll get 80% rice, sometimes I'll be given a piece that is much smaller than the ones next to it. should've just asked them to give me a different piece to be honest.
Friendly services, good selection range of Japanese food such as sushi, bento, and ramen! Great portion and reasonable price! Not the best I’ve tasted but good enough from the size of the kitchen and around the area. The ramen broth could improve and the ramen noodles taste better when dinning in than takeaway they stuck togerher Tip - u can ask for extra serving of ramen too! It's a tradition carried on from.previous owners. But I did notice the portion is getting smaller for takeaways.
I think they are under new management. I order ramen and have been waiting for so long and actually they lost my order. Sushi left next to cashier uncover and everyone order food in front of the sushi. Reman didn’t cook through and still hard.
Ordered ramen with extra egg to take away. But they have forgotten to give me the egg. When I rang them the lady was so rude, asking me "so what do you want me to do?" No apology offered whatsoever.
Food is okay but hygiene is not okay! I've purchased 4 rolls from them cost me $14! And when I was about to pay, I noticed they left all these salmon avo roll uncovered at the cashier. Covid aside, anyone who walked pass could have added some extra ingredients for you. Will not buy from them again
Flavourless sides. The main dish meat and sauce doesn't look or taste bad, but honestly my rice at home tastes better then theirs. I wouldn't come back.Food: 2/5
Horrible service, gave us plain noodles with no flavour or taste and on top of that, they even forgot to add the beef in the noodles. They charge $25 for plain boiled noodles
They don’t use bowls, but takeaway containers, also plastic utensils. Portion is relative small compare to other Japanese restaurants. Soup is very salty. Better go to Chinese for soup noodle with the same price!
