Tommy Tu is my go to nail salon! They have great attention to detail and are always tailoring every service to each individual customer. Even when they’re busy, they always take the time to make sure you have to best possible experience. I’ve never been disappointed with my nails. I have been coming to Tommy Tu now for years. I don’t want to be writing a negative review entirely but after today I wanted to share my experience. I came in for a Pedicure on my toes, and the entire service only took 15 minutes. Now, the main point of a pedicure is the “Spa” like experience. Ie: massage, scrub etc. The lady who took me through, rushed this completely, had no care whatsoever, and took her only 90 seconds for scrubbing my feet and giving me a lovely massage, which was not even a massage to be fair. It’s just so disappointing as a pedicure is meant to be much longer than a in and out experience like essential beauty. Keeping in mind, it’s a Monday it’s very quiet and there are not even 5 people in the salon.. and that was my experience. The one lady who I regularly see is Nadia, and she’s been nothing but amazing the last 6 months that I have been in and she looks after me, but unfortunately it wasn’t her today and it was a terrible experience. Nadia, takes her time and it’s of value to your money. Unfortunately I do rate this a two stars after today. If you decide to have anyone book with Nadia. She’s great, and actually takes her time, and makes it a relaxing experience, as it should be!!Services: Pedicure
I don’t know where to start. Degrading treatment by owner and staff, I got my hands and feet done I only asked for feet yet they said they can everything before closing which they ended up rushing while being degrading. No wounded why the reviews are at 2.4 stars. It’s my birthday today and I got those done yesterday, you can see the old colour under the new one due to rushing and to top it off when addressing concerns the owner tried to put blame on me. Throughout the years they got ruder and less experienced. I’m never coming back or anyone I know.
I very rarely treat myself with a pedicure and I wish I had read reviews for this place before I did. The staff member was quite rude and rough while doing the pedicure, the water was cold and the whole point of a pedicure in my opinion is to be treated to a massage and bit of pampering… this was done quickly and was not relaxing at all. I had shellac done and not only has it got tiny bubbles through it, it also was a very messy job with the polish and gel top coat very visibly off my nails and around on edges of toes which I had to fix after leaving. She kept checking to see if the gel was set which I know they do but at one stage her glove stuck to the wet polish and when she pulled it off it had left a mark. Instead of fixing. She put another coat of gel on top and that was that. I highly recommend not going here as it was a terrible job and not a nice experience at all. Save your money and go somewhere where they care about their customers and the experience they are giving themService: Pedicure
I came in a few weeks ago to get a set of acrylic shellac french tip. The only reason I haven’t given 1 star is because the lady doing my nails was friendly, but my nails were actually crooked! I’ve never experienced this, in any shop, ever, over several years. The french tip lines were also noticeably uneven, I’m not sure they were even used to doing a long length nail. The service provided for the money I paid did not add up! I wish I’d checked the reviews before going in. Do not recommend at all! Absolutely horrible service! Lady literally ripped off my nails breaking 2 of my real nails having them bleeding she wiped with acetone to “disinfect” it.. then tried to charge me $95 for my new set. I’ve never paid more than $55 got removal and a new set.. and I’ve never had someone make me bleed before. And they still charged me $15 for the “removal” ripping off my nails and breaking them never will be going back and neither will my friends that are usually regulars! Have never left a nail salon crying before but today I did.Service: Acrylic nails

technician was very heavy with the buffer, hurt my fingers and made one bleed before covering it with chemicals which stings like hell. then grabbed the wrong colour 3 times and ignored me asking to make my nails shorter several times so i didnt even get what i asked for. not sure if she couldnt understand me or just wasnt listening, a deeply frustrating experience for the price
Great service from very wonderful ladies. Showed them an inspiration pic and they copied it perfectly. Definitely recommend!
