Loved this place! It's such a great hidden gem! Food was amazing and my wife even loved the dessert, and she doesn't normally eat it! They guy who was serving us was really good with telling us about the meats and the fish on the day! Wine's was just delicious! Will be back here again!Food: 5/5
The food was sooo tasty! Each and every dish was really delicious, rich of flavour and unique. The filo pastry, halloumi and hummus is a must try, so good! The drinks was really good as well, and I mean, look at the place, stunning! Great service and friendly staff as well. We’ll come back for sure! So glad we found this place
Probably one the best Greek restaurants I have been to in Perth. Good selection of mezedes and mains. The Saganaki was delightful where the figs and apricots complemented the haloumi really well. The Lamb Cigar was a real treat. And for the mains, the seafood claypot and moussaka were cooked to perfection. Plenty to choose for dessert to finish with a Greek coffee. Will definitely return to try the other dishes. Vegetarian options: Good selection for Vegetarians. Parking: Located next to a parking block so ease of parking.
Not a lot of Greek restaurants in Perth, this one is good, we had Lamb cigar, Spanakopita meze for entrees, Seafood claypot and Traditional goat, the entrees were great, crispy filo roll. Found the Goat a bit dry. Overall, food is good and staff are very friendly.
Very dissappinting 'Greek' restaurant. It's probably the furthest from Greece in terms of both distance and authenticity. The portions were small for the price. If you look at the photo, I have more dandruff than the feta in the eggplant salad. The main lamb in the photo as well came as a pile of shredded meat. No plating or dressing or sauce at all, you would be lucky if you got the good cut or just a big piece of gristle or dry portion. Also, $21 for 4 small meatballs? Ooft. Would be nice to have more greek dessert choices than just baklava, cake or cheese. Lacking classic greek dishes the previous owner had like moussaka and saganaki. Lacking in seafood choices too. No occy!! Staff are young and relatively untrained as well. No heaters outside so be prepared to bring a jacket or freeze in winter. Small redeeming factor. The dolmades was fresh and nice.
This is one of the few authentic Greek restaurants left in Perth. The food was beautifully prepared. I enjoyed the mix of grilled meat, the Turkish coffee and the deserts.
Staff was welcoming, friendly, attentive and fast service. We had the lunch special, it was good portion for two. The calamari was soft and melt in your mouth, sausages was tasty. We will come back again.
So to start with the space itself is lovely. Great aesthetics for sure, and a nice spot I’d say in future to have drinks on a weekend afternoon but I wouldn’t bother with the menu again in future. It looks like the food at the previous restaurant was better. Though everything was presented well it was lacklustre, enough to feel annoyed and eat something else later in the evening. The chicken I would say isn’t as good as a bachelors handbag from Coles so for that price it’s unfortunate and the salads were okay but nothing bar the oysters really stood out and thats not exactly hard to nail. It’s a shame with such a varied and flavourful cuisine as your inspiration the food lacked authenticity / that depth of Mediterranean flavour. We were pushed through dinner and our waitperson was constantly asking us to order drinks and food. At one point we were asked if we wanted drinks while still finishing a $150 bottle of wine and we also didn’t have menus to order anything. The constant pressure to order things and being suggested to order more food ended up getting to us so we actually left half an hour early. For afternoon drinks, sure and half a doz oysters, definitely but I think you can eat much better meals for roughly $140 pp $500ish for the bill.
A taste of Greece right in Subiaco. We came for lunch and were very happy. Lamb wrap and I went for the set menu, having the saganaki for entree and the lamb skewers for main. All of it was delicious. That lamb! And what better to wash down a Greek lunch? A couple of cold Mythos.
New name, new look, and new menu!! Still a great atmosphere - really buzzing and lively on a balmy Saturday night. The food was fabulous. Modern takes on traditional Greek dishes without being too radical. And the food off the charcoal was just superb-we shared the fish which was smokey and crispy and also moist. The charred eggplant in the salad was also a flavour bomb!!! Wine list had a good mix of local and overseas options including Greek which you don’t see so often. We had a delicious Greek rose. The cocktails look amazing!! We’ll definitely be coming back!!
