This is the likes of a Willy Wonka factory on steroids! Rows and rows of candy, sweets, chocolates and more. We decided to become a human claw for the day and grab some of these delights. You only have 3 seconds to grab what you can. It was fun and very entertaining. And of course, we came home with lots of candy
There’s a great variety of confectionery on display, which is fun for kids to explore, but most items are noticeably overpriced. The pick-and-mix, for example, is $39 per kilo—definitely not worth it for what you get.nnIt also feels like the least popular or leftover candies are the ones placed in the pick-and-mix bins. I watched three people try the candy crane, and each time they walked away looking disappointed. It costs $35, One young boy, probably around 7–9 years old, gave it a go and was lifted so quickly—within just three seconds—that he couldn’t even reach the candy. Followed by his older brother, he too was not able to reach the candy.nnIt seems like you only get a small handful of the less desirable candies, making the whole experience feel unfair, especially for younger kids. It would be much fairer if children were offered half-price tickets for the candy crane game
WOW! Super impressed with our first experience here. The widest selection of sweets, snacks and drinks. I was truly overwhelmed with all the different options. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff and the coolest displays/characters. Will definitely be back again when the human claw machine and chocolate fountain are installed. Well worth our time and money - the experience was magical!
So excited to visit the Brisbane location, my sister in law surprised me for my birthday with a spin on the human claw!nWhat an absolute blast, the team were super friendly and holy wow the variety of different lollies and chocolates was incredible. Absolutely worth a visit
We visited Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse in Melbourne while on holiday to pick up some treats for the kids back home in New Zealand. The atmosphere was amazing, truly a kid’s dream. Even as an adult, I was impressed by how well the store is set up and the huge variety of confectionery. Everything we got was great and there were so many options to choose from.nnOne staff member seemed a little standoffish, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. This place is a must-visit if you’re in Melbourne and love sweets. Four stars!
