Authentic, fresh and delicious canto food. Tastes like home to me.
This place looks like fun and it is. Great food in the classic Aussie Cantonese tradition. Prices reasonable for Yamba, which is a pricey town. Friendliest service in the world with lots of smiles and jokes. Only criticism: a very ordinary wine list. Solution: drink beer.
One of my favourite dining experiences. Food was absolutely delicious and staff were so accomodating. Very impressed!
Had a combination birds nest and sweet & sour pork + fried rice … the meal was amazing - fresh, tasty & just what we wanted … highly recommend this place for a good traditional Chinese meal
Really enjoyed dining here, food was excellent and the staff were friendly and catered to our requests. Fresh prawns, scaollps and vegetables made for a delightful evening.

Totally fabulous. I read the earlier testimonials and thought I’d put them to the test. They were spot on. Salt & Pepper calamari super soft, chilli prawns awesome, and the boneless honey chicken was a massive hit with the kids. Finished off with deep fried ice cream. Wicked! We’ll be back for sure.
We have been here multiple times over the years, unfortunately bearing witness to the downward spiral of this restaurant but nostalgia brought us back again for this trip. We were only one of three other tables in the whole place and this included outdoors so we were pretty surprised when one of the many wait staff could not be bothered to come and take our drink order. We finally ordered the sizzling fillet steak and the sweet and sour pork to which the waiter scoffed when we ordered it!. The steak was tough and to be honest felt like it had been pre cooked prior to being served up to us. The sweet and sour pork was like gristle and fatty and pretty much inedible maybe the waiter knew more than he was letting on!. In spite of all that we thought we would order desert and this was like an Olympic event with everyone at our table trying to make eye contact only to realise that they just didn’t seem to want to serve us. So as nostalgia took us to Tom’s, common sense will not make us go back.
Chinese dine in for dinner tonight, not expecting too much due to some bad reviews. The prices were high buts thats the Covid world we live in now. The meals were excellent fresh and hot, service top points,. When in Yamba we will return
