Terrible!!! You can never image you car can get crashed in a branded service center. If you really needed to have you car serviced here, please take photos thoroughly for your car at the time you drop it off. Here is my story. I dropped of my car at Ryde Subraru Service Centre for regular service. When I picked my car, I found it had experiend a crash. I talked to their staff, they simply pushed off their responsibility by saying that the crash was record on the report before undergoing service. Yes, they simply said that without providing any proof. They did not even confirmed with me at the time they 'found' the crash. Complaining to the service manager will make you more disspointed. He will say the same thing as the CS staff. After spending times to convince him to investigate, he called back 1 week later when I was out. I asked to email me the investigation detail, but now it is more than 6 weeks, I still haven't received the email he promised.
I would highly recommend using a different service centre for your new Subaru servicing. I’ve had several experiences with this service centre and I’ve never left feeling satisfied. Every part of of the process feels like pulling teeth. The lack of communication and professionalism is not what you’d expect when taking your car in. Twice I’ve left my car for work to be completed only to be called at the end of the day to be told that I’d have to bring the car back another day. Most recently I had a warranty repair completed with the part ordered and told there was a 6-8 week wait time, that’s fine, I understand. Week 8 comes around, I give them a call and get told the part arrived very shortly after it was ordered. Car booked in. Two weeks later I get a call to book the car in a month after it was already booked in. No one checked to see if this was already booked in? Took my car in and get told “I’ll give you a call when the car is ready”, only to call them at 3:30pm to find out cars been done for a while. It seems like internally, as well as externally, this place lacks basic communication skills. I understand that it is under new management, so this might change, who knows. In the meantime, I’ll be taking my Subaru to North Shore for my future service needs.
The staff were quick and efficient. They have working area with free wifi decent speed and free coffee & tea where you can work while waiting for your car to be serviced. Appreciate the complimentary car wash and they do have the drop off service book in advance but I didn’t end up using. Not sure if there’s any pick-up since I didn’t enquire about that. They advised me it’ll take 1.5 hours to service and they did finish it in 1.5 hours
they people at Ryde are extremely accommodating, polite and efficient. They are a pleasure to deal with : My vehicle always comes back to me running better and spotlessly clean :
Very poor service. Didn’t take the time to listen when I tried to explain the problems with the car and twice refused to look at a review of the issue I had from a mechanic. I was told the issue was fixed, only to find it wasn’t, and then told the fault was mine for not communicating properly. I will not be using this service centre again.
Service is adequate. Costs reasonable. Service quality has taken a nosedive under new management. No courtesy vehicles dropoffs for local customers.
Poor service. Will not take the time to discuss maintenance issues. They also crashed my car into another car in the parking lot. They then buffed out the damage and claimed it was okay despite remaining damage still evident. Attached photo is what their "fix" looked like.
This is the worst place my car is not same anymore and i bought this year i give my car clean got it back dirty
I fell terrible writing this but it’s come to a point where I’m fed up with them and have just had enough. I bought a car from Subaru fresh off the lot and unfortunately, a piece snapped off within a month - fair enough, happens sometimes. Took it to the dealership I bought it from and they told me it is definitely covered under warranty so I wasn’t stressed at all. I had them call the service centre for me and was told it was done, and I’d receive a call soon and never happened. As i can’t write more, I’ll leave it at this, it’s been a year of constant calling and trying to get a booking for an easy and cheap replacement and still nothing with terrible customer care from them - go to another Subaru service centre eg Castle Hill
Avoid at all cost!!! I wish I could give negative rating for this but two times error from the center means service is rubbish. I did warranty claim on faulty speakers and they did the inspection on Sept 2021 for rear speakers then ordered them. Found front two speakers also faulty so took to the center again on November for inspection and they said they will order them. Until February 2022, I called them and chased up, they said their system had error or service receptionist blame game begins, they never had record of my second inspection at all. And they don't even bother calling me for rear speakers are ready until I call. Anyway, I agreed to do another inspection for front speakers and also install rear speakers on end of Feb. They said front are also faulty and put an order then said book on 10th March for installation. I called up on 10th to make sure all are set. Well another BS saying speakers are not physically there but shows available in the system. Said they will call back in an hour or two. But never called as usual. Stop blaming on system and blame on person who use or make it or fix it. I will never go there for service again or buy from them. Useless.
