Juby new management the best , he should get yearly reward. He was love by staff and residents family and visitor .Well done.
Staff are great but can't say the same about the management especially the higher ups in the head office, particularly the CEO - they are more focused on outward appearances than the actual needs of the residents - changed the cutlery from the standard stainless steel to fancy looking but heavy ones that residents have difficulty grasping especially those with decreased fine motor skills - when asked if adaptive cutlery and two handled cups could be provided was told not possible the management think it's too ‘cheap-looking’ or something like that. Same goes for the water jugs, the old plastic ones were fine then suddenly switched to screw tops that are so hard to open and close shut and the lids break easily. Meetings with the residents are mainly about the addition of unnecessary amenities like lawn bowls and a sports bar and not focusing on their basic needs like the quality of the meals served, soup is so bland and never enough gravy or sauce; a lot of times the food is rejected and so much wastage at the end of the day.
I did my placement there . All staff are nice and cooperative, teamwork I like most . Always respecting residents preferences and needs and always providing care with love and patience . All the staff are very hardworking , dedicated, determined to their work
Even zero rating to that place. I did completed my placements here. Very rude staff and don’t know why they are always show their ego to the students. They feel like students are the criminals have no sense to train the students even some of the staff members are very good as Jack, Manpreet from gardinia, Nitika, Renu that all are very good and friendly to guide each and everything but other just show their bloody attitude towards the students as Gail, EN and RN also not good. Alina have full of attitude. Never recommend any student to come at this place for placement. I did call about the reference and staff named vicky or not sure about name at receptionwas so rude and even she didn’t listen my talk and she behaved rude and did cut the call.
Residential aged care.nClean and residents we have met seem very happy here.nParking is very difficult. You may get a spot inside depending on time but may have to park in nearby streets.
