Clifton Views is one of the best aged care facilities I have ever come across! The staff are super caring and attentive to the needs of the residents. They are always taking the resident's out doing such fun and innovative things like taking residents to the Corporate Box at Marvel Stadium like that is UNHEARD OF from an Aged Care Home but how amazing! Every time I visit, the energy from the home is electric and so vibrant and full of life!nSuch an amazing team!!!!n10/10 for me!!!!
It's the people ... they are amazing! Genuinely caring, professional, going out of their way to make a difference; and making a difficult situation so much better. From Management [Monica & Debbie] to all the nurses, carers to the food preparers - they are all welcoming, so friendly and professional. This is not what I expected in an Aged care home - they are wonderful :
Absolutely disgusting. Staff are extremely rude.nCare to residents is extremely questionable. I wouldn't put a dog,cat or goldfish in there.nIf you love your Mother or Father look else where.nUnfortunately l had to put one star, but l would suggest no stars.nStaff are trained to act nicely until your backs turned.nAlso have been advised from 2 major hospitals in Victoria to not put my own Mother in there, as treatment is really poor.nHad to deal with a rude lady called Deirdre, l explained that my mum has early stage dementia and she said they cannot look after anyone whom has this illness, although l was told otherwise. Also still waiting for manager to call me back. That's over a month ago.nSo happy to say my Mother will be getting looked after properly. Definantly not at TLC.nPlease consider other places before TLC
so many things to say about this facility. as a placement student i was completely disgusted by the attitudes of staff towards residents and other placement students. extreme lack of infection control, stains on floor of all residents rooms and staff would leave them sitting in their own incontinence for long periods of time. they would speak in their own language in front of me and the residents which led to confusion and distress from both parties. imagine as a resident the staff are “helping” you and they’re aren’t explaining what they’re doing. receptionist was always rude and unfriendly. do not put your family members in this aged care it is disgusting. monica the manager was uninviting and made us all feel unwelcome.
Throughout my time there, I witnessed appalling levels of unprofessionalism among the staff, characterized by rudeness and neglect towards both residents and students.nnOne of the most disturbing aspects was the lack of basic hygiene standards. There were instances where I observed stains from residents' bodily fluids, including feces and urine, left unattended for extended periods. This neglect of cleanliness not only compromised the dignity and comfort of the residents but also raised serious concerns about their overall care and well-being.nnFurthermore, interactions with some staff members were consistently rude and dismissive.nnMonica the manager is not welcoming at all. Alongside with the receptionist purposely would lock me out in the mornings and let me wait in the cold outside until they were ready to open the door … i felt like i was treated like a dog
