We had a lovely Wednesday night. The restaurant was nicely warm and amazing service that took care of us was fantastic and super attentive. The food was fabulous too, the fried Buffalo has a great combination of sauces, and the pasta tastes fantastic. I'm blown away by your delicious food, and outstanding service! Oh! Definitely, our baby proved too. :
So glad I found this little gem of a place! Had dinner here with my friends and we had an amazing experience! The staff were attentive, polite and knew their menu well as they were spot on with their recommendations. The atmosphere was lovely and we were seating close to the kitchen so we could also see the chefs preparing our dishes. Every dish that we had was delicious and I had one of the best mocktails cause I was driving I’ve had in awhile! There is also easy off street parking and we will definitely be back to try the other dishes we didn’t get to on the menu! Definitely recommend to book ahead too! Well done Tipico!
We’ve been coming here so many times now and not once has it been a disappointment I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are all friendly and very helpful with explaining what the dishes are. Easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne. All the dishes were amazing and cooked to perfection!
Visited Tipico on Saturday night. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the food was phenomenal. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very relaxed and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back!
An Italian restaurant in Windsor located in the quiet section of High St; inside is a well lit dining area in front of the open kitchen as well as a bar section. Had the following from the menu: - Salted cod croquette; crumbly coating with a tender and meaty fish, paired well with the sweet and tangy pineapple ketchup - Fried buffalo mozzarella; nice stretchy melted cheese with a mild tangy tomato cream and a touch of basil pesto - Girasoli; activated charcoal pasta was cooked al dente, filled with a good amount of Moreton Bay bugs. Seaweed sauce was delicious; savory and buttery but does not overpower the sweetness of the seafood filling - Crumbed veal cutlet; served with a good portion of greens with some chili powder. Meat was tender, seasoned with some salt and herbs. However crumb was not crispy and did not stick to the meat properly - Dry aged duck breast was pretty tender and flavourful, paired well with the creamy and buttery artichoke puree. Witlof leaf was slightly bitter but refreshing and the potato terrine was very soft with a crispy outer layer Overall a great meal; staffs were friendly, attentive and accommodating, allowing half serving of the starters. Secondi was a little pricey. Highlight was the girasoli pasta.
I would come here again and again. Such quality fine dining Italian experience. The service was incredibly friendly from the moment I called for a booking to the moment we left. The bartender offered to create a special cocktail for us as we requested something that was not on the menu, which was highly appreciated. I also liked the lighting and comfortable ambiance of the venue, it made us want to spend quite a while sitting, having a chat whilst enjoying a variety of beverages. And the dessert menu is a must-try.
For entrees, we ordered, Ciabattine, Salumi Misti with Buffalo Mozzarella, Ostriche and Crudo. The warm pizza dough complemented the Salumi very well. All of us went for the Tortelli for our mains - 6 large tortellini was surprisingly filling as the serve seemed small. The pasta was a little thick and a little chewy and the flavour was well balanced. A tasty dish. For a little spice, ask for some chilli in oil. The charred Broccolini side dish was delicious. Dessert was Crostata Al Limone - a lemon tart which the others enjoyed but I personally found it a little too sweet. The G.M.C.P cocktail was deliciously refreshing. Service was good and attentive.
I really enjoy Italian food but its not something I typically get excited about. However, I'm already asking when we get to go back. It was so so delicious! According to my boyfriend i'm not allowed to say that the savory donuts that were served with the cheeseboard were my favorite.. but in my opinion that is genius! But honestly everything was brilliant. The waiter was fun and engaging the atmosphere was fine dining but welcoming. More expensive than a usual Italian meal out but worth it!
One of the best food experiences I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Chef Andrea has created a top notch menu, with original and creative dishes, an amazing experience, with food that melts in your mouth. Absolutely captivating dishes, one of the best in Melbourne.
Absolutely delicious! The 4 course chefs menu exceeded our expectations. Some of the best ravioli and veal cutlets we have ever had. There’s wasn’t a dish we didn’t love, definitely will be back!
