Do not recommend! I wish we had checked the reviews before using this dry cleaners. I had a white suit blazer that needed cleaning for a very special occasion, not only did they damage the jacket they hid the blazer between other items and still asked for payment. The jacket had black dye run all over it and when this was pointed out there was zero accountability and the lady behind the counter was Incredibly rude! Once we spoke to the owner he said he had no Insurance that covered any damages they made to garments! Once again I would stress DO NOT use this dry cleaners.Service: Laundry pick-up
Would definitely not recommend, I should have listened to my neighbour who had a bad experience there. Wanted to enlarge the waist on a pair of trousers, was given a quote of 15£ and agreed it will be ready on a Friday morning. On Thursday evening I receive a call to tell that the alteration is now 35£ and got promised them the next day morning and if there’s going to be any issues, they will fix it free of charge. Next day morning the shop was not working it’s usual hours even tho I spoke to the lady a night before. Wasted 30min of my morning for nothing. Obviously I didn’t get the trousers when I needed them, the following day they were delivered to my house after 10min convincing that I am working and I can’t pick them up within their working hours. Finally, trousers were too small and when I asked if they can enlarge more because I literally can’t close the button. I was told that there’s nothing that can be done, I asked for what I asked, although for a suspicious reason I can’t close them. Also, the lady told if I am unhappy I should go write a complaint. So here it is. Anyways left robbed and with a pair of trousers that still don’t fit me. Honestly I wouldn’t waste my time here, until this small business is going to start appreciating the customers more and give a better quality service.Service: Alterations
We have been using Tip Top Dry Cleaners regularly for over 20 years and their professionalism is first class. Highly recommended.
I used to go here under the previous management and they were great. My first visit with the new management I noticed my jumper came back with a faint flourecent stain on it and they had put the safety pin through the material of my silk top instead of the label. I picked it up first thing on Friday morning and was away for the weekend. but at my when opportunity when I came back I politely went back in and top them what I noticed and asked if they could take a look. When I went to pick it up the woman literally shouted at me saying that it was the policy to return it the same day if there were any problems and that it as my fault. Such an awful way to treat a customer, so I would not recommend them at all, go to the one on Crown Road instead. New Management does not mean good management!
New owners are great, quality service and during the last lockdown as all business were closed there was a contact number on the window, when I called they offered to deliver to my house for free or to arrange a time to collect my suits. Could not ask for better customer service and its the best in this area, 100% recommended!
Needed a next day service as I was in office and wouldn’t make it for there opening hours, had my clothes delivered after hours at 8pm! Excellent service.Service: Delivery
A big health warning - do not seek a service of tailoring, other than the most simple and straightforward, which you would undertake yourself but for lack of time. Whilst the dry cleaning service is good, linguistics are used as an excuse not to undertake a more complex tailoring job properly, with disatrous results and whilst still charging the full cost £56. No acceptance of fault, with defensive argument put forward. Shame.
