Staff were too busy talking to make a simple order. Waited 15 minutes for 2 simple drinks. Ordered no marshmallows on baby chino and it come with them on top. When I mentioned I asked for no marshmallows the worker stated 'oh yeah it does sorry" if you weren't too busy talking about your personal lives you would have noticed. Milkshake was overfilled and spilling all over the cup. View is nice, lots of seating, its located next to toilets that stink and seagulls are very present.
It is all about the views with this place. Score yourself a seat by the water's edge, and it'll be happy days. The food menu was simple but delicious - although there was a bit of a wait for them to come out. Some of the staff could do with a bit more smiles - a common thread after reading the reviews here.Food: 4/5

Fresh, tasty and affordable food right on Lake Macquarie. This cafe offers great coffee and a reasonably sized menu featuring cafe classics and all day breakfast favourites. They also provide a kids meal and are dog friendly. Service was friendly and attentive with the views thrown in for nothing! Support this great local gem!Food: 5/5

Such a great place to sit on a sunny day. Coffee and food are not the best on the lake not bad by any means but the atmosphere makes up for it. Staff are friendly. Watch out for seagulls. They WILL steal your chips if you look the other way.
A locally owned business with the owners proud parents often stopping by to mingle with the customers. Responsive staff who listen to instructions on making extra hot coffee they have a volcanic option with a great relaxing atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Fantastic views off the deck. Great customer service. Amazing for a coffee and cake. Busy, but usually enough room for a casual sit-in. Good assortment of cakes. Usually enough parking on the road. Definitely recommended for the location.
