Almost 40 Years of Serious Fun

Timezone’s visionary founder, Malcolm Steinberg, opened the first Timezone in Perth back in 1978. Malcolm, who had previously supplied pinball machines and other amusements to Australia, built the company into the industry leader it is today.

Timezone started a revolution. Unlike the traditional pinball parlours and pool halls of the era, Timezone was the first family oriented video amusement facility. This family emphasis is still a key focus of the brand today. Together with our sister companies who supply amusement machines and the technology to manage the cards and improve the customer experience Timezone has set the standard in the family entertainment centre industry.

INTERNATIONAL BRAND
Following its success in Australia the Timezone group of FECs expanded to internationally in 1995. Today, Timezone has established a strong foothold in more than 190 locations, operating in Australia, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Singapore. Still 100% Aussie owned, Timezone is run by a highly qualified and experienced team from the regional head office in Sydney and the group head office in Singapore.
