Not too impressed as it is basically a new bookshop with a pretty limited range.

Unlike some book shops this one has stayed on message. It sells books. The staff know a lot about books. The books are well organised and the range is pretty good. Perhaps not quite as cerebral as Carlton but there are enough good books here. Prices are typical Australian retail ... expensive although there are some good gift options for under $20 and a good range of kids books.

They didn't have what I was after in stock, but they sourced it out, got it delivered and sent me a text message notify me that I could pick it up that day! Outstanding service

If you've a family in Kew then chances are you'll receive a gift which was sourced at Tim's Bookshop at some time. The gift wrapping and knowing that exchanges are always allowed make purchasing books here to give away, really easy. I use a Kindle to read and the internet for reference - but the great range of kids books here and the friendly service make it a place that we come back to very often. Highly recommended for when you have to grab a birthday present at the last minute!

Books are very cheap (30 dollars for hardback first edition of harry potter) this bookshop has a large range of books.
