Do yourself the favor and get the annual pass, because there's tons to do and see here. Great hike and paths! I want to say the annual pass pays for itself after 2 maybe 3 visits which will be easy given all the trails to do. Not too mention just the sanctuaries. Plenty of animals to see if you keep your eyes open. The gift shop had some good stuff as well. Bring some water and snacks though since it's a bit far from much else.
Beautiful nature preserve with a very fair admission price. It is a nice combination of driving and hiking opportunities. I saw koalas, roos and a snake during my trip. Platypus are said to live in the swampy lake area but I did not see any on this trip. I highly recommend it! PS, Gibraltar Falls is close by last photo!
Absolutely amazing place. Been twice now and have bought the annual pass as it's definitely worth it with so many hikes and things to see. First time, went to the bigger sanctuary with the ponds in it. Wanted to see koalas but just saw a swan doing what I can only describe as casting some ancient spell in the water by slapping its body against it. And then saw a snake, which I assume must've been the effect of the swan's spell. Second time, actually saw koalas at a separate sanctuary, so it more than evened out the first time.
Almost my favourite place on earth. So love being around the natural bushland and wildlife. So cool that you can hike up a hill and come across kangaroo, emu, wombat and any number of incredible birds.
Just wonderful! Lots of walks of all difficulty levels. Lots of picnic areas, well laid out. Lots of toilet facilities that were clean and had soap AND hand dryers. The Sanctuary had lots of wildlife that weren't camera shy. Notably there were nesting black swans right next to the path and a VERY friendly couple of bandicoot that came right up and ran around my feet. That close! The koalas were also active that made a nice change. As I said... Just wonderful.
A great place to see some Australian wildlife. You pay a small fee 17 AUD to enter the park with your car. There are alot of different walking trails, well maintained to explore the vast area. Definitely a day trip activity to explore. Especially during sunset and dawn you'll see alot of animals. So try to stay into the park as long as possible before closure.
Great place to view wildlife - saw some kangaroos up close, not to mention the pythons : DIdn’t have much time on this trip but before enjoyed the nature walks. Highly recommended.
Really do enjoy this reserve. Winter and summer it has a range of walks suitable for all ages and mobility. The ponds are great for youn ones as you can go long and short... all the way through to 12km plus loops with great views. Playground: Good kids playground inside the reserve. With BBQs and lots of grass. Restrooms: Dotted around and we'll maintained. Dog-friendliness: No dogs Picnic area: Lots.. plenty of space. Bring a ball or Frisbee:

Wonderful experience for a few hours or a day. Wonderful for the entire family. Can be utilised by young and old, certain areas can be accessed by wheelchair. Take a picnic and enjoy the spaces for BBQ'ing. Toilet facilities available.
