The place is tidy and the shop took 2 shop lots. Heard their food was good and so just had to try. Had 4 dishes that included one steam dumpling. The dishes were a little salty as the balance between the amount of sauces used might be off. The flavours were lacking as one just can't figure out the taste! Perhaps overload of sauces, chilli, oil and possible even MSG. It was rather disappointing. Further, although we were the only customer, the wait time dishes between dishes need to improve as they came out quite irregularly. We even had to chase for our dumplings as it took almost 35mins after the first dish! Saving grace is the dumpling is fairly decent, otherwise it would be just one star. I would not be revisiting this shop anytime soon. Parking: 3 side parking slot outside the shop if you're lucky. Otherwise, roadside parking further down the road
Amazing dumplings. Best ones so far, better taste and different texture. Was our first time here, will definitely be going back for more dumplings.
First time in Auckland and were driving around and found ourselves near this place and called in for a snack. It was absolutely delicious. Ordered pan fried dumplings and chicken and mushroom dumpling soup. So tasty and large portions. 100% recommend and would come here again. I wish we had room enough to have tried more of the menu.

Have been to this restaurant several times. Has done some facelift outside. Inside was quite normal but spacious and pleasant. Not an upper class restaurant but the food was tasty and every time we dine in the restaurant the taste of the food was consistent. The price was reasonable. In fact the service was quite good and friendly. No worry, no language problem. The waitress spoke English. Booking is recommended if you have a big group. We still dine there occasionally. If you like Chinese food you may not like to miss this place.
Came here bc google had good reviews, dumplings pork and prawn were average and not that tasty, the chili on the table looked old and almost empty, no napkins either. I won't be back. I prefer the dumplings at Mr Zhous!!Mt Eden
Excellent food. Excellent service. After living in China for 5 years I miss the food, Tianze Dumpling House hit the mark. Food: 5/5
Our family of 5 had dinner here for the first time and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The French beans fried with mince pork was outstanding. The pork ribs dish is a must try. And don’t miss the claypot seafood tofo.
Real yummy food. Although it can be a bit slow when busy but the good taste was definitely worth the waiting!
Had dinner last Saturday, very busy restaurant. Food was tasty, Service was friendly. A good place to bring your wine to share with friends. Will go back again. Vegetarian options: Ask front staff for vegan option
