They treat trans people absolutely horrendously, and they care about anyone. When I first came out, I told my teachers my preferred name, and I got taken out of class a week later and told that I can't tell my teachers my preferred name because its not on the register, and in order to get it changed on the register, my mother has to send in a written letter to the principle. She did that. It's been a year and a half and I've had no update, no name change, nothing. Also, along with that, I was told that my parents and I had to have a meeting with the principle about my name change. No other trans student who has gotten their name change needed to have this, so I have no clue why I have to have one. I'm nowhere near getting my name changed still, and I have been so extremely uncomfortable being called that name to a point where it has affected my mental health severely. Also, I went through a horrible period in my life where my mental health was horrible, and I had severe panic attacks daily, so I didn't go to school often. Instead of the school offering to help or just understand and offer me a half time schedule, they just taxxed my single! mother multiple times.
They treat the teachers more superior to the students . Teachers are allowed to have phones , have any hairstyles , any clothes , any drink , but students can't have those . In my opinion , this is ridiculous as its only unfair . They also treat religion best more than anything .
They treat the teachers superior to the children! Staff can eat,drink fizzy drinks,and go on their phones in class meanwhile the students cant and they have to have water for it to be ‘healthy’! You cant even wear a jacket or a hoodie outside or else it will be confiscated. THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT BULLYING ETHIER!!!!!!
Absolutely disgusting. I'm currently at this school and the way they treat bullying is horrendous. Its as if they refuse to belive the student when they say their being bullied. If your looking to send your child here. Dont. They focus more on religion than anything else, and barley any students are religious. Seriously?giving us bibles in year 7? If I wanted to go to a Christian school I would. But I don't want to. The teachers are in the wrong job and treat students like their not even human. Seriously, not letting females go to the bathroom becuase they don't have a toilet pass? Save your child's mental health dont send them here.
Hi i am a student at trinity academy and i am a year 9 the way they say they have 0 tolerance for bullying is a lie and when we ever need toilet during lesson you need doctors not just to go and i find that ridiculous so i advise not to send ya children here!!!..
does nothing about bullying, uniform is a joke, cant personalise anything or its considered vandalism despite it being your property, teachers treat you like animals, nothing like the pics, food tastes like my dog’s urine, kids constantly vaping under the stairs, teachers love saying slurs, only good things there are the occasional ducklings
Hi, I am a student at trinity academy thorne. this school is absolutely disgusting in the way that they teach students for instance the bullying is inapropiate. I was getting bullied and still is and also they love to take you out of your class. The food is basic and it's just irrelevant compared to other schools however some teachers are nice like Mr stones except from he's a busy guy and Mr winch but other teachers like the pastoral team that takes cares of bullying is horrifying. However, you do make friends I would like to change this review once the bullying is fixed and education.
I'm a student at trinity academy and all they are bothered about is how you look and how tight girls trousers are and how short lads hair is but not being funny or anything they don't do anything about bullying. They should stop being so bothered about everything else and get all bullies kicked out of there school. As a student it may seem like I just don't like it but my mum is fed up with this school ad well. She's rang up and complained so many times and they having rang back. Also this school doesn't let you take off your blazer during got weather and don't let you have a drink I had a drink in one of my lessons and the teacher first called me and put me in isolation.

1 star lol u dont deserve that refusing a child water when its warm then first calling him then wanting to put him in iso for it i dont think so. The thing is my son came home before lunch from his class and nobody was aware of this till i told them a week later when they did get round to ringing me back after all the calls. This school is a disgrace
