Couldn’t fault a thing. Service was great, genuine, attentive and authentic. Food was great, again, authentic so much depth and perfectly executed. The menu was spot on. Bonus points would be for a heater outside. But i would wear extra layers if needed to eat a meal here.
Olives with their own restaurant baked bread …the bread was so soft and the olives paired so well with it. Rigatoni - pork suffused pasta with an amazing flavour . Not at all pretentious, but exactly as described and amazing to eat. Special on the night - spicy pasta with fresh cooked prawns. Light ocean flavours without overloading the pasta. The spice was on the tongue and missed the lips all together. WOW. I don’t do restaurant critiques but if I did, it would be a good one. Never been here before, but I’ll come back. Megan was our server, and she, like the other staff was amazing friendly, efficient and really pleasant. Apparently this place changed owners and 99% of the staff. You could not see it. Well oiled machine and amazing food and service.
Great venue, nice cold beer haven't had lunch yet still waiting have been waiting over 1/2 hour ,will see how the lunch dinner is hopefully whether the wait ?? Got lunch was worth the wait thanks
So so disappointed in my $33 chicken main course, chicken was beyond dry. There was suppose to be a ‘grain salad’ I got a few pieces of lettuce and some very small amount of seeds.
The food was great!!! I like the Thomsons Fish & Chips, their Asian salad and Snaper. It’s pretty busy today. Hope they will add more set of chair & dining table.
Quality of food is not so good for how much it cost. I ordered prawn pasta and it tasted burn and oily like stir-fried noodle. Something unknown cold show up within chips on another dish...
Food was great and has a nice big playground outside for the kids if needed. Had pizza and was impressed with the flavour, staff are friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.
This restaurant was previously known as Aristos Waterfront Rottnest, not sure if it is the same owner or different owner. Delicious food, good service. Order and pay for food at the counter.
Lots of seating choices, very beachside feeling. We had the Wagyu beef burger and fish burger. It was a bit pricey but given that it's Rottnest island, we understand goods will always be more expensive than Perth. I didn't like the bun as I felt it was very pasty... Otherwise It's a simple place for quick service I reckon!
We love going to Thomsons every time we come to Rottnest! The staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious, so fresh and tasty! This place is always bustling but you don't have to wait long for your meal..the staff work so hard! The view is amazing...its the perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday in Rottnest!!
