John the receptionist thinks he can overstep his authority. I had a medical script sent in. I had sent an email confirming the order where he then proceeded to ask me question outside of his duristrictions and authority . He then proceeded to cancel my order without notifying me. I then called to find out was happening to his answer " I've taken you out the system, I don't know you"... John your gonna cop a black eye if I miss my scripts for Christmas
So, my wife and I went to Thompsons Pharmacy Eltham on our wedding day. We needed to get a document notarised ASAP for a visa - yep, unfortunately, that was our situation. We approached the counter still in our wedding clothes and we asked the pharmacist for his signature and his notarisation stamp on two A4 sheets of paper. He was simply standing there, a metre or so from us, with his hands in his pockets. The place was quiet, there wasn’t a queue, and he wasn't in the middle of any pressing task. I watched his face change as he realised we weren't at the counter for anything that would provide revenue. Then he looked us in the eye, said that he couldn’t, because he was on a lunch break, and turned his back on us. It would have taken him five seconds. He was literally just standing there. When I think of my wedding day, I think of Thompsons Pharmacy. “Serving the local community”, their billboard says. Guys, when Chemist Warehouse drives you out of business in a few months, please know - you totally deserve it.
The most professional pharmacy that I've experienced since moving to the Green Wedge. Both the Pharmacists, and all other staff, are open, honest and caring. I couldn't recommend a pharmacy more than this
The staff at Thompsons Pharmacy in Eltham seem to be hit with the Stuck up stick! Not a smile or 'can I help' you, I was ignored. And especially I would complain about the C-Pap consultant, what a sourpus. She made it clear on the phone that she was much too busy to talk to me. After driving over from Lower Templestowe I found her attitude unfriendly and off hand. When I got to the cashier to pay $200, for my mask, the cashier was so sour, that I turned on my heel and left. Not a good look Thompsons Pharmacy, Eltham. And I didn't think you deserved that $200 sale. Or maybe you just don't care.
Always lovely here. The pharmacists are so welcoming & friendly. They fit me in at the last minute for a booster when priceline ran out of stock.
Staff here are very helpful. Twice now I have ordered medication for my dog by email and phone. It has been no problem. Yesterday I put in an order, and today it arrived Express post to regional Victoria. I am so impressed. Staff were thorough and great communicators.
Abhorrent customer service and attitude holding us to ransom being the only compounding pharmacy in the area. They act like filling a script is a mystical art that requires hours of work and your asking a huge favour of them to do their job
Check out and compare prices elsewhere chemist warehouse before you buy any creams or medication The attitude on the slightly overweight female pharmacist was breathtaking. I don't expect passive aggressive curt remarks from someone more interested conveying their condescending remarks when I asked for cream and she said I need more than cream wow do you know that she told me to go by it somewhere else so she must’ve been upset with the boss CPAP machine section I seen there. true colours because I didn’t buy a machine of them she basically rode me off I bought the exact same machine with a bit more technology and an app on the phone believe me,,, before you do anything in purchasing a CPAP machines do your homework I got it for $ 450.00 dollars cheaper five you warranty and I got a rebate from Medicare witch never they never said anything about that so in a nutshell looks can be deceiving Nasty pasty
On my second visit to this pharmacy I waited to hand over a script. Then while it was being filled I waited, looking at the shelves. My name was called out but when I got to the professional service counters there was no-one there. I waited again, with staff returned to the counters and busy at work, until I ran out of time and left. This wasted a half hour trip. I don't know if there's a system here - there's nothing sign-posted - but some pharmacies handle this efficiently by having IN and OUT counters. I'll be finding one locally that does. And maybe when they call my name out they won't disrespect me by walking off.
The staff at Thompson's Pharmacy were really helpful with assisting me and my son's teething pain. They showed genuine concern and recommended a gel that immediately gave him relief. The staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to help.
