This is the 3rd time Thermaglaze has fitted double glazed windows for me, the quality of the product and the service is the best I have experienced. The Product is not only increases your thermal requirements, safety and security, they look amazing. Sam the Window installer was a polite, respectful, clean and tidy. I will be definitely be using Thermaglaze a 4th time and would recommend them if you want genuine German manufactured technology windows that are very affordable.
Awesome service. I have a noisy neighbour next door and have not had a good sleep for a while. Got a call from Will a couple of minutes after requesting for a quote through their website. Will came down to the house to measure and gave his suggestions and price. About 4 weeks later, window was installed. Now i sleep peacefully. During the initial installation, the flyscreen was somehow overlooked but a week later, Thermaglaze came back and had it installed, which was a nice touch as some service providers will not entertain as soon as last payment has gone through. Highly recommended.
Best price by a LONG way. Amazing service, great quality. Our neighbour recommended Thermaglaze to us and we are extremely happy with our double-glazed glass balcony door from them. Everything from the measure to the quote to the installation was excellent and surprisingly quick. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
We can’t thank Thermaglaze enough for an outstanding job. Excellent customer service and definitely job satisfaction. The windows are of excellent quality for a reasonable price. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend. Thanks Vicky from Alkimos
Original Review in 2020 Do not use this company unless you want delays, poor workmanship, no service, refusal to respond to calls and outright lies from Nathan the owner. This is an update to my post 2 years ago as to why i would never use this company. Firstly i was surprised Nathan the owner responded to my original review however not surprised at all that he did not respond to the various complaints raised - only about not informing me of the change of product different to what i purchased being Rihou to Deceuninck. So after putting up with a front door for 2 winters that is not airtight, whistles constantly in strong winds and allows water to get in my wife has put her foot down and demanded i get it fixed. After checking the Thermaglaze website i notice they are no longer a listed Deceuninck installer - surprise surprise. No doubt due to the many complaints. He has now moved on to Aluplast. I contacted the recommended Deceuninck installing company in Perth to come and look at my front door to see if it could be fixed. Their company expert has verified all my complaints about his workmanship and pointed out more faults i was unaware of. They all relate to not being built to Deceuninck specifications as follows. 1. The door does not have steel reinforcing for added strength and stability. 2. The door should have had at least 5 latching/ locking points not 3 as installed causing the lack of air seal 3. It should have had 4 hinges for that weight door - not 3 as fitted. The hinges supplied are not the recommended ones. The existing hinges are spaced incorrectly. 4. The door is too high out of spec and required a wider mallion at the top and above the glass infill panel. I will now need to have a new door manufactured and installed as rightly the new company will not warranty or work on other companies faults. On further inspection of other work in the home they verified my original complaints were valid due to poor workmanship and installation . I look forward to your response Nathan
We had some internal doors installed for a cool room, very professional service and love the finished product
We recently had our double glazed white windows fitted by Thermaglaze and are very happy with the results. The windows are good quality for a reasonable price. I did a lot of research beforehand and found some big differences in quality and price. We are very close to the beach so need a product that could cope with harsh conditions. They spent a lot of time with me to ensure i was happy with the design. Very professional company!
We renovated our house 5 years ago installing over 20 new windows and doors and 5 years on they still look as good as new. Excellent installation, excellent price and friendly service. We had received another quote from a different double glazing supplier and had initially ruled double glazing out as an option as we though it was too expensive. By chance came across Nathan and his team at Thermaglaze and we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the costs were. All in all very happy and I cannot recommend more highly.
We've just finished double glazing our whole house with Thermaglaze and couldn't be happier. After researching for many months, we went with Thermaglaze because we liked their product the best, it's best suited to Australian conditions, the price was reasonable and we liked the team. Nathan has been great throughout the process, and Mark who did the installation did an amazing job. We're so happy with the aesthetic affect of the windows, and are already noticing a huge difference in the house remaining cool when running the air con and warmth when it's cooler outside. Thanks Thermaglaze team - it's been a pleasure!
Terrible customer service and did not supply as quoted. They were recommended by Home base Subiaco so thought I would be pretty safe. The quote gave delivery 4 weeks, required immediate deposit which I paid 28 April. After 3 weeks no contact no phone calls returned. Then an email was answered to say someone would come and measure and that delivery, installation, had gone out from 4 weeks to now 5 to 7 weeks. A couple of days later measurement was done, further payment required and made. More unanswered phone calls and messages. Finally a “likely" installation time about 12 July, 11 weeks after deposit. Called 12 July no answer, call returned 13 July, they suddenly realised that they didn't have some parts, need to be sent from Germany. Finally installed 18 August almost 4 months after order! After installation I expected to receive warranty and product documentation but all I got was the bill for the final part of payment. On a cold morning I put my hand on the outside glass and compared to the inside, little difference. Not much of a test but it made me suspicious. I email requested warranty and product information. Received the 10 year limited warranty info so again requested product information as I wanted the official U value rating of the door that, incidentally, had no outside handle at all. I received a copy of the order acknowledgement document. It listed the outside handle, nothing about U rating. So, I again questioned, response: the order acknowledgement was a standard document, I was not charged for an outside handle, first I’d heard, a door with no outside handle?? Still no product documentation but in the email the owner, Nathan, said U rating 1.9. Before order placement they had quoted "U rating 1.3 but could be as low as 0.76". The main reason I ordered from Thermaglaze, despite being over 80% higher than the cheapest quote, was they quoted the best, that is lowest, U rating. I reminded Nathan of this fact by sending a copy of the email stating U rating. He then sent me a web based performance calculation from Guardian Glass.com, for only the glass part of the door, based on the American NFRC 2010 standard National Fenestration Rating Council showing U rating 1.4. Two problems, one, it was for the glass only not the whole door assembly, two, when I plugged the same data into the calculator on the same website the U rating came out as 2.5. I did note that it was possible to easily “edit" the calculation output report file Applying the ISO International Standards Organisation in the same calculator, U rating came out as 2.6. Since Thermaglaze was recommended by Homebase Subiaco I went and spoke to them, their response, "don't pay until satisfied". Now three weeks since installation communication has ceased, no product documentation, no associated U rating, no external handle, no final payment made and a very unhappy customer!!
