The chicken at The Wise Chook was really tasty. The chips were cooked to perfection, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside and delicious!
Rates 2.5/5. Chicken was flat, roasted veg way overcooked, great chips n service though. They also sell various burgs salad. Not often you’d find indian curries sold in a chook shop, these guys have them though i have not tried any.
This score is based purely on them wasting time by not confirming Menulog orders or turning off their menulog availability when they can’t accept orders. Wastes so much time whilst you wait for the Menulog contact stages as you can’t cancel the order. Also no phone number listed to chase them up. So frustrating and time consuming. Please fix this guys. If you can’t take orders, turn off the bloody app.
Have sampled their Aussie Burger & Chips for a while now and have quite enjoyed them. Always fresh and taste great..tonight I tried the deluxe with bacon and it was wonderful. In my opinion the best Burger in Sydney along with the Chips. Reasonably priced too. This is definitely not a fast food Burger that is so bland and has no taste..well worth it.
Hime delivered. The food is great. However ordered a gravy which was missing and ordered a Greed Salad instead got a bowl of cabbage.
Great chicken shop! This place also serves great Indian food such as curries. Some of the best I have ever tasted! Looks like its just a chicken shop from the outside, but if they can place a sign about also serving Indian food, it would certainly stop many more motorists passing through Cammeray!!!
Had a good experience the first time with them hence the two star and not one through ubereats so thought we’d order there again. Waited approx. 20 minutes for them to confirm the order from the time that we paid and confirmed only for them to cancel on us for no reason as they were not closing yet. Upon reading the other reviews I slowly understood that this seems to be a bad trend of theirs.
Absolute terrible service. They had forgotten an item from our delivery and call us to advise that wont be sending out the items as it is to hard and the driver was already coming with half the order, that was the exact words from the guy on the phone. When our delivery showed the driver rocks up holding our food in one hand and a cigarette in the other. Very unhygienic and ill be making a call to food safety. Never going back again first impressions always count and you guys failed miserably! Its shame you cant rate a 0
This place is dishonest and the food is so bad. They made a mistake with my menulog order, the food delivered was worth less than the amount I had paid. When I called, they refused to refund the difference and kept saying they were too busy. My burger was soggy. The meat patty was half the size of the burger. There are plenty of better options in the area.
Got excellent service with clean and super tasty food, my previous experience was not good but now a days with new management it has completely changed. I couldn't stop after BBQ chicken. Now I am regular customer. Thanks to new management for your excellent service
