Order steak for dinner this evening. Perfectly cooked. Place was busy, but new owner Sylivana came to clear our dishes from our table and was happy to listen to our feedback. Looking forward to going back for another meal. Fantastic service.
waitresses were lovely- however, the food was horrible- when food was brought back, they just reheated chips in fryer, the food tasted frozen and heated up and the manager's treatment of staff absolutely appalling, needs to learn how to be in a management role, felt absolutely horrible for those poor girls. Used to be one of our favourite spots but definitely has gone down hill since new owners. Disappointing.
I've gotta say, I was very disappointed with my 3 night stay at this hotel. Which is a shame because they have great food in their restaurant. Firstly the room had very recently been painted, and it stunk of fresh paint, and as it wasn't air conditioned, the smell hung around for all 3 nights. Secondly, the TV was showing no signal on any channel. When told about this the next day a staff member checked it out and discovered that it hadn't had any scan done to tune into the available channels. After about 20 minutes, she finally got the tv receiving channels, and realized the reception was very patchy and breaking up. The reason for this was that where the antenna cable plugs in on the rear of the TV was damaged and wouldn't keep a consistent signal.nAlso, the fairly new sink in the bathroom had 2 massive cracks in it. Lastly, there was only one small bench in the room to put luggage on. No other table or chair. Had to sit on the edge of the bed when using my laptop.
The food was amazing and friendly customers service with all the staff. We have the chicken and kids pizza meal and it was cooked juicy, fresh, perfect crispy chicken breast.nnThank you chef ‍ that’s nice meal for us for the night.
Order fish and chips to go 2 overcooked pieces of fish and small amount of chips was $29.00 not even tartare and lemon for that ridiculous price. If you are looking for good food at a reasonable price this is NOT the place.
